David Whitlock? Now that's a whole lot of funny right there. He should be in prison somewhere for good.

He's the same as the LMPD... only difference... he had democratic legitimacy, since he was an elected Constable, unlike the appointed Chief of Police, and their obedient minions....

David Whitlock might get his gun back but will he ever do anything professionally or otherwise that is something other than living with his mommy well into his thirties. Its kind of sad when you can't or won't get a real job and support yourself rather than living with your mommy especially when you're a grown adult man.
just an observation

Actually, there is no democratic legitimacy. The chief of police is appointed by an elected mayor. A constable derives his/her peace officer powers from a statute, enacted by elected legislators. At least the mayor was elected by the whole county whereas the constable is elected only by those in the district in which they live but thereafter have authority over those who never had a chance to vote for or against them.
