I'm sure cruises are safe with no problems most of the time. But, I just don't think I want to go on a cruise. And I'm not sure if I want to get on a plane, either. I think I'll just stay here on dry ground..haha. My hubby and I are pretty happy just being together at home. We've traveled about all we want to. Home seems to be the place to hang out these days. Besides...we've got the dogs and we enjoy playing with them out in the back yard. They're just like kids.

I was wondering about this to. In WW II the Japs dropped bombs on the aircraft carrier Lexington knocking out the engines and starting fires. The crew was able to put out the fires and restart the engines.

What kind of dumb azzed crew was on that ship ??? Couldn't the cruse line bring in some engineers to restart the engines ???? There was more going on than what went public.

My stepdaughter and her husband went on a Mediterranean cruise after they got married
And they go on day cruises cause they live in Florida, but I would rather keep my feet on solid ground. What I read about what they went through made me almost physically sick.

It's difficult to move people between ships. Having been a Marine, I have climbed down cargo nets to LCVPs (little boats with a ramp in front). There are always accidents. Moving over 3000 folks some old, some sick to another ship would be very dangerous.

The best course of action would have been to fix the problem. The ships that I was on were crewed by mostly 18 and 19 year olds. There were older officers and chiefs in charge. But they could fix anything that went wrong.

Don't they have one of those things like a ramp that could have been put between the two ships so the passengers could disembark from one ship to the other? Or would something like that be too cumbersome to carry? I don't know...I'm just asking silly questions, I guess. And I agree, they should have engineers on board every cruise liner. Maybe they'll think about this in the future.

How is everybody today?

Ramps won't work on the ocean with all the moving around. Those little boats I mentioned above. When a wave would come in they would rise up and slam into the side of the ship. And when the wave went out the boat would drop six to ten feet. You had to jump off the net at the right time.

On Navy ships they sometimes shoot lines with a chair type device that takes folks form one ship to the next. I have seen the lines go slack and dump the guy in the ocean. The ships move closer together and further away all the time. In rough seas they can't even use that.

Usually they will lower a boat and take folks over to the other ship. Or use a helicopter if the ships are large enough.

Oh, ok. I was just wondering. I guess that would be dangerous after all. Nope. I sure wouldn't want anybody getting hurt. So I guess maybe the cruise line did the right thing by towing. Thanks Scarecrow. I'm just a woman...what do I know about ships and such? haha.

You probably know a lot about horses. I like horses but am afraid of them. I would like to learn how to ride them.

They had lots of camels in Iraq. They were pretty cool, they would snort and spit at you when you got to close. I smile just thinking about them.....

Do you really think the mind control media would tell you anything straight? Even if this was no doubt a UFO with no question, they still wouldnt tell you anything.
