humana review number two

Star Rating for Humana should be NEGATIVE:
The end of February 2011 I called Humana to cancel their Medicare Plan B insurance. Humana's internal procedures of issuing a reference number for my call was not followed. I ask to fax my cancellation and was told it might get lost. I was instructed to send the cancellation notice to Kentucky which I did. However the letter of cancellation did not arrive in KY until after March 1, 2011. Humana insisted on charging me another month's premium even though I protested. Humana then turned my account over to a bill collector. I called Humana asking they cease the bill collector's calls and Humana refused. I ask Humana to research their phone records for my February 2011 call and Humana refused. Humana may have also reported the March 2011 premium payment to the credit bureaus. Now in 2012 Humana is sending me advertisements to purchase their Medicare Plan B insurance....ARE THEY SERIOUS!!
Humana is not an ethical company to do business from my personal experience.
