What children really want

[Observation]

Much has been made recently about shootings at schools. Child safety has become the government's top priority as evidenced by VP Biden's task force that had recommendations to stop this violence within a month. So now our kids our not a risk?

What has effected children more than some isolated shooting is that their parents have not had a job for years. Many parents that are lucky enough to have found work have taken steep pay cuts and/or working many jobs just to get by. And things don't look very promising. Everyone saw a tax increase too despite our leaders "solving" the fiscal cliff.

So now I ask the President and his followers, what is more important? Is it children with a roof over their heads, food in their belly or is stopping a lunatic from using a gun? Actions speak louder than words!
