Absolutely outrageous. The city is sure quick to spread a net and apprehend this facebook terrorist. He actually threatened the money generating capabilities of the thunder event. Now as for the actual criminals that actually committed crimes and actually injured and victimized citizens, well, no action there because the city's profit margin wasn't the issue. It should bother people that the barnstable event is more valuable and deserving of greater protection than the well being of your families. That the festival parade is much more important than your children. What a joke. I wouldn't be shocked if the 911 lines were deactivated during the derby festivities. Can't waste resources on common people when something as important as a gala is going down. Someone important may require assistance.

Realist, I guarantee you would be the first person wanting to crucify law enforcement if they did nothing and this idiot went on a shooting spree and killed lots (or even one) kid at Thunder. Your protestations ring false when looked at through the clear lens of reason.

I truly just want to bomb the West End. There really is absolutely no use for it. Imagine the tax money that would be saved!

Wait. I get it now. You're another nickel grabber with some interest in the derby festivities. That is why you see this as an accomplishment. Protect your investment and insure profit return. I think real victims deserve real justice. Not just those that might lose a dime. I believe in the protection of moms and grandpas and daughters, not proceeds. If that is the way you lean, you suck. If I'm wrong, then I am, but you made the dumbass comment.

The only "dumbass comment" made has been those with your name attached to them. You implied the police were only interested in arresting and/or prosecuting this idiot because he made a threat to do something during an event which brings lots of money to area businesses. You never gave any credence to, or at least never mentioned, the idea that if he actually did use the guns he posted a photo of, REAL people would have been hurt or killed and THAT is why there was such a hurry to apprehend him. So you're either too stupid (now my personal vote) to have surmised this on your own or you are just another whiner who isn't happy about anything done by law enforcement and/or city officials. The latter would support my conclusion in my first post so I'm right either way.
I'm now going to go back to the deep end of the gene pool and leave you to google what surmised means.

Really? Because of what he MAY have done with the weapons that he posted pictures of that he MAY have actually possessed? So, it's is the threat of potential violence that is more alarming to you and not actual violence that has already occurred and was subsequently covered up and or ignored. Hmm, that's intriguing. You're obviously a city supporting liberal that really only cares about victims if there is a chance that the victim could be you or someone you care about. Way to support that NIMBY stance. Go on, paddle your way back to the deep end now. The problems only become problematic when the bottom feeders and the scum drift or intentionally make their way into the shallows. Grab them nickels and feel secure in this significant crime foiling act. You're safe now. And real smart too. And if you happen to be a LEO, I'm disappointed, because I do support the cops, but not the politicians. You're obviously not one of the many good ones that I know.

This only supports why more white people would pull their money out of supporting the growth of downtown Louisville.

Once this area goes, so does Louisville. Think about it.

How many people would actuality want to visit, shop or even move to one of their many condos with this type of criminal behavior going on.

Blacks are wanting to shut anything down such as the Derby, Thunder over Louisville, tourism, etc.

They burned down Fountain Ferry and whats to keep them from doing the same to other events.

I wouldn't move there even if it was free. Who wants to go around checking their backs.....all the time.

Abraham Lincoln said it best, so we need to listen to a former President speak on racial issues..

"I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race."
