I have not had a procedure there but I wanted to tell you that right next door is A Woman's Choice. It is a crisis pregnancy center. They would welcome you with open arms You can get a free ultrasound there and you can see if your pregnancy is viable. It is all free. They will help you financially with rent, utilities, whatever they can to help you. If you would like to consider adoption, there is the money to help you through your pregnancy and they have loving families who are yearning for a child. They can even help you pay for college. Please just talk to them. God bless you.

Maybe you really don't know Susie but a woman's choice is not a nice place. The reviews on their Google+ page paint a clearer picture of A Woman’s Choice firmly anti-choice mission. One reviewer tells about how A Woman’s Choice lures women in under the impression that they are an abortion clinic. Once inside, women are given food and drink, which prevents them from heading next door to the EMW Women’s Surgical Center once they realize their mistake; women must fast for a day before they can receive an abortion. Grove goes on to describe how she has seen crying women run out of A Woman’s Choice in their underwear. After concessions are offered, a doctor takes the woman into a back room under the guise of giving an ultrasound, where he instructs her to take off her pants. While the woman sits, shocked, confused, and sans pants, the doctor lectures her about how sinful abortion is, and how her mortal soul is in danger. Her pants will not be returned to her until she has listened to the entirety of this tirade. Many women, flustered and frustrated, choose to abandon their clothes and storm out of the clinic at this point, hence the upset and betrayed women stomping pantsless through the parking lot. Grove is not the only reviewer to have witnessed this; her story is corroborated by several other reviewers on that page. that they are an abortion clinic. I am involved with A Woman's Choice and nothing you said is true. An ultrasound is done. We do not take their clothes. Their clothes are not removed for the ultrasound. We do not feed them or give them drink. We treat them with love and respect. We help them in any way possible so they don't feel they have a choice but end their child's life. Nothing could be further from the truth than how you describe A Woman's Choice. When they come in to see us they are perfectly free to leave at any time. What you describe did not happen.

DO NOT PLACE YOUR CHILD FOR ADOPTION these people are an industry a business and their business is trying to get your baby if you decide to have it. EMW is a decent place you will be there for about half a day and depending on how far along you are you may just take some pills or you may have to have the surgical d&c done it's not terrible I have experience with both and I would
beg you to just go to the clinic and have the abortion spare yourself the lifetime of misery that a coerced adoption will bring you. I'm begging you please EMW is not a bad place. You can go in there and see the worst part about it is the wackos protesting outside! Best of luck my dear please please consider it

I have a noisy heat pump. Does anyone have a heat pump/split unit? Mine is very noisy. What is the average life of these things? What other options are there? I don't have natural gas. How much would an electric furnace cost? What about air conditioning? My heat pump is 11 years old. Please no smartass comments.

A Woman's Choice is not in the adoption business. We rejoice if you choose life for your child. Pure and simple. If you choose to keep your child-that's wonderful! If you chose adoption-that's wonderful! We will help you so you don't feel that killing your child is the only option you have. We are nonjudgmental. And you can leave A Woman's Choice anytime you choose. Anytime. Some of the women come in for 5 minutes and, sadly, leave to go next door to EMW and abort their child. Why not at least come to AWC and have the free ultrasound? Look at your baby. See the heart beating and see your child moving. They will not show you the ultrasound of your live baby unless you ask at EMW. They discourage you from looking at your live baby boy or baby girl.
Why would you encourage the mothers to let their children be killed rather than hear positive options? A Woman's Choice will do that.

I was a patient at EW Louisville yesterday and I have to say it was the best experience you could possibly have, given the circumstances. There was a lot of waiting but we were allowed to have cell phones, keep in touch with our drivers, there was a TV, the girls and I enjoyed watching Family Feud while we waited. Throughout the whole day, the staff was incredibly kind, concerned and really seemed to care alot about making sure we were comfortable in our decisions. They never do anything without explaining why and there are on-site counselors to help aide you throughout the day. The little lady who does the anesthesia was my most favorite person all day. She kept the situation light and she was very gentle and sweet. It has been less than 24 hours post surgery and my body feels back to normal. A good sign of a job well done. I was given pain meds, antibiotics and a 3 month supply of contraceptive. I am very glad I chose EMW, the girls and I were very well taken care of.

You left something out of how wonderful it was today at EMW--that is, your baby girl or baby boy died today. Your baby's heart started beating at 18-21 days after his or her life began. So you stopped your beautiful child's heart today. You will always remember the age your child would be every year from now on. When he or she would be 1 year old, when started kindergarten, 1st grade, high school, get married, you have grandchildren and on and on.The easy part was today--the rest of the days from now on will be difficult. A Woman's Choice has post abortive counseling if you want to get help from them afterward. They are nonjudgemental and compassionate. I'm so sorry for you and hope you are ok.

I just went there and had a positive experience. Well as positive as it could be in the situation. The protesters are no joke. They have escorts to walk u to the door but the protesters come up to your car and say stuff right in your ear the whole way in. I wasn't ready for that so be prepared. I got pretty emotional. Once in, you all go back to a room and they start calling u one by one to each "station". First u pay, then blood work and weight and stuff. Then an ultrasound. Then a video. Then the counselor. Then a pelvic exam. Finally u get your pill or wait for the d and c. All in all I was there from 7:30 to about 12:30. If u have a d and c, u will be there till prob 4 at the latest depending on where u are in the list. Everyone was polite and nice. The clinic was clean and everything went smoothly. Just a lot of waiting.

Fill in the blank-- When a woman has an abortion , a _____ will not
be born.
So, pure and simple, when the mother of a preborn baby has an abortion, she is killing a defenseless human being. Her own little boy or little girl. You cannot make that be untrue. The baby's heart is beating from 18-21 days after conception.

There are no protesters outside of EMW. There are Catholics praying and there are Protestant Christians proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and offering help and options outside of killing their unborn babies to these women. This is done in love with no malice or judgement toward the abortion minded women. There are also pro choice escorts feeding women lies and trying to distract them from hearing the truth, walking them to the slaughter of their babies, and claiming to protect them from protesters. The accusations on A Woman's Choice are flat out lies. Do you not think authorities would be notified and such a place shut down if these things were true?

They're all inconsiderate ass holes. They were screaming at me telling me I was a coward and I would leave my girlfriend bc I made her do this, all in all. It was her decision and I told her I would stand behind her. I'm currently helping raise her 3 year old whom I'm not the biological father but stepped in when she was about a year and 3 months old. I work everyday spoil her and love them both with everything in me, my gf made the decision bc she is in college and it's hard to raise 2 kids and accomplish your life goals so I stood behind her, I also would have stood behind her if she kept it. I wouldn't mind either way. But the men that stand out side are manipulative ass holes. It was hard enough to do it. But it needed to be done. With that being said. If it wasn't such an emotionally day. Someone would've gotten their ass whipped, me or the loud speaker guy who I can't help but notice isn't at work today. Bet Jesus pays his bills.

Giving the situation I was in , they truly were no help. With abortion of course its not the best support but the women and staff at EMW were unprofessional. They were unorganized. They pretty much didn't care about anything besides your money. I was the very last one of the day and they didn't recover me like I should have been. Youre supposed to be in recovery for 30-45:min and they made me get up and leave within 10. They didn't care who picked me up or if I was safe getting to my car. They just wanted me gone so they could leave. I truly needed the procedure done but in hard times us women wouldn't mind to be treated fair especially knowing that it's not a easy decision. They were very rude I truly will have nothing nice to say..I regret choosing to go there.

I recently had one done there about a month ago, I think what helped the most was hearing the other girls stories and knowing what they was going through on why they decided on that as well, although I was the last one to get my surgery as well, they wanted me gone fast to like literally I was trying to walk and almost fell when I got to the elevator and the girl was laughing and didn't try to help which I thought was very unprofessional.

Heartbeat or no heartbeat, it is not a viablr fetus until 24 weeks, therefore, your argument is invalid, you are not god, yoy cannot play god, and you will pay for the judgement that you've placed on these girls, i have front row tickets to burn in the eternal incincerator according to your people, anyhoo, ill save ya a seat. If there is a god, he will have n mercy on your soul. Have a nice day. Lol

No no no, dont try and sugarcoat your crap, you people are insane, LMPD turns a blind eye to what you do out there. A womans choice is a joke, there are no medical professionals inside, not one, and they do not suggest every alternative you may have.
Dont buy into that nonsense. This is your body, and that baby cannot live outside of your womb until 24 weeks. Louisville stops performing abortions at 22 weeks. We dont want to read your pamplets, we do not give a hit about yours graphic signs or your begging and pleading not to go in. If there is a god, and he wants to hold me responsible in the afterlife for this, well guess what, i am prepared to suffer that consequence. You do not know each girls story as she walks in that building, no one feels good entering that building, but, we know what is best for us, and well, you need to worry about yourself. So bring em all if need be, pack em in, the more protestors you bring, the more money i will contribute to this cause, hell, i may even head down there one saturday and pay for a few of these girls abortions, im gonna leave that up to you biblebeaters, and how you act in the very near future.

Your pig with lipstick is still a pig! The "protesters" are really a form of terrorism that threatens and intimidates the women using the clinic. Their warped mindset is to use whatever they can throw out in lies, confusion,,half truths, false stories to force someone into their way of thinking. The public should be worried more about what runs in the protesters warped little minds instead of what happens in the clinic. Remember the bombings and doctor murders by the anti-choice groups? That plot could be hatching out next door as we post!
