It happened in San Antonio, TX, a few weeks ago.

Excerpt from the news story:

"The boy's father tried several times to enter the burning home, but police held him back and ended up tazing him. SAPD said it was for his own safety.

The infant died from injuries sustained during the blaze.

Arson is under investigation. Police said the stories just don't add up."

The parents and/or grandparents did save one child. The infant who died was the 2nd child. It was the grandparents' house. They were babysitting the kids.

Don't make sense does it??? Makes me wonder what role that some self-righteous morons really believe that they take on when they put on a uniform. And the cold hard fact of the matter is,,,the fire-department will do you the exact same way.As if they truly have a right to dictate what a father is willing to risk as it pertains to his child.
And that's exactly why the very last thing I want to see if my home is on fire,,,is flashing lights of "any" color.
Anyway and all that aside,,,I'd understand if this father hated the policeman that tazed him.And hated him real good and possibly even forever because of it.

I'd probably be upset too, but if they had let him go in and he died, then his family would be suing for wrongful death, that they didn't do their duty. Or, he needs help and a firefighter dies trying to save him. Its sad and I'd probably want to do the same thing he did...but I wouldn't blame the cops/firefighters forndoing their duty.

Well, personally,,,I do.I resent such a thing and detest any person whether they be civilian or otherwise,,,who would execute such ignorance. And I'm pretty sure that if some self-righteous kids that was dressed up like cops or fire-guys was to actively play John Wayne and effectively hinder you from saving your child's life,,,that you would too.
