I wonder if Tom Cruise is ashamed to be related to the owners of this skid row place of employment. Their lawyers i heard were law school rejects..

Mapother sux azz!

I called them for a friend who had a bill bought by Mapother. They added all kind of fees turning a few hundred bucks into $1200.

I offered them 10 cents on the dollar and they refused. So I told them "I would call back about this time next year, but I will not be able to make this same generous offer."

Screw em'.

Mapother and Mapother have ruined my entire life over a debt that was incurred when I was a stupid kid. No they will not work with you and they turned a 2000 debt into 10000 and are taking a third of my check. I can't make ends meet whatsoever. I had made a deal with Capital One to write it off but somehow they ended up in court with it and garnished my check AND put a 5000 lien on my house to boot. They are the scum of the earth and they only care about taking advantage and profitting NOT about settling old debts because that is what I was trying to do so do NOT defend these cock roaches to me.

This post makes me laugh. First off, if you had called to set up a payment plan, I seriously doubt you would have a garnishment or a lien in place. 2nd, in the state of KY they can only take 25%, not a third of your check. 3rd, it's called interest. If you had read the agreement on your credit card, you would understand why the balance jumped. You get charged interest daily. It doesn't stop because you all of a sudden can't pay. 4th you borrowed the money from a credit card company. Why should they write off your debt when you are the one that was irresponsible. You can't give the excuse you were a kid for the rest of your life. Man up and deal with it.

fu k em slimeball puke attornies (not saying they are) comes now representing the a s s h o l e s in case and cause........ if you feel they are doing something wrong file a bar complaint against them or file a complaint with the Attorney General. What out for ROBO SIGNERS they are not real people you can challenge these in court...They are not a real person so if your matter goes to court supenia the signers...also get every document for every transaction make sure all signatures match yours in your discovery.

First off, they don't buy debts. They represent original creditors and debt purchasers. 2nd they are more than willing to attempt to work out a payment plan or settlement (but you have to be reasonable and not offer $25 a month on a 5k balance). 3rd, if they proceed with suit, it's their job!! Not bc they want to make life miserable for you. 4th they will serve you with a summons and a complaint..they can't just automatically get a judgment against you. And finally...if you are being contacted by them, you obviously didn't pay your bill.
Yes, they do buy debts and they will try every dirty trick in the book including making false and fraudulent claims. I'm fighting them right now over a debt that was discharged under chapter 7 over a decade ago.
