while I had my coffee, I was thinking of this:

Well, I woke up Sunday morning
and put on my cleanest, dirty shirt
and the beer I had for breakfast
was so good, I had another for dessert

Probably a lot of poor souls out there this morning just like this. GOD bless them just as HE has blessed me.

I looked the song up on Youtube with Johnny and Kris and while the words are not quite right; the meaning is still the same.

Well, a cold morning. There's some snow on the grass and a little bit on the road. Hope to put out more seeds for the birds before I have to head out today.

You might be easily frustrated or disappointed today as the toilet and Uranus clash briefly. Don't allow anyone to take advantage of you in this state; if anyone asks you if you can do them a favor, say I don't know; if anyone tries to sell you something, say I'll have to think about it. Don't do anything that will have a big impact on your butt or make any important decisions today. It's better to coast along, doing your job and minding your own business.

The snow has pretty much all melted away. DO check for black ice if you have to drive. Putting out the new bird seed, I was nearly attacked by birds! They were hungry and wanted me out of the way. haha!

Hi Rapid, that game really sucked. They came out like they were hungry for a win and then fell apart. I mean, really, five tries for Ark at a shot, those turnovers killed them. Those fans sure gave it to Archie (from Ark) since he chose KY over them. But like you state, it's not over yet, that is why they call it March Madness.
yep , that was pretty bad, all the arkaninsanions booing archie goodwin , especially with all his family there watching. ahh, who knows ,maybe they were booing too ! glad to see him play his heart out though. if i'd been him,at that last few seconds they were holding the ball, he should have grabbed it ,foul or not,and ran it down the court, just to show them WHAT-FOR ! hahaha! the refs were stupid.

You know you're from the South when there's a chance for an inch of snow and they close everything!!
I know. Just wanted to let you know I was rolling with the Maxine video. Several years ago I purchased a calendar that was of Maxine. Maxine tells the facts in a comedic way. Laughter does the body so well;)I remember the snows from the late '70s and ''80s.! I hate driving in the stuff, but the black ice worries me the most especially with my children in the vehicle.

I got a country ham bone and will make some this week. Soak the beans first in baking soda to remove some of the wonder. You know why they stink? It is so that deaf people can enjoy them too. LOL

They must still be working on the internet and phone. Barely have the net and no phone at all.

Hello, folks. Had a very busy weekend .....sleeping. LOL. All that talk of ham hocks, hambone and beans has made me hungry. I can't have that stuff in the house because I wouldn't stop eating until it was gone, and with it, my fledgling diet. Hope everyone is well. I've got to catch up on the posts, will be back later.

Heck, you can call me if you want. LOL I do get a little bit stranger as the night wears on. Occasionally, I will get a call from one of my insomniac friends who knows my schedule. I never sleep through a night, haven't for the last several years. I just doze/sleep lightly, wake up and do something, then go back to bed for another night nap. When I was young, I could sleep like the dead, but as I get a little older (mind you, I didn't say old), sleep eludes me. Perhaps in my waning years, I try try to get in as much waking time as possible, because I know my years are growing short. Who knows. Sometimes, I believe that I do my best thinking in the deepest part of the night, just before the roosters crow to announce impending dawn.
