They had to be aware of it. Something that large and flaming. I do believe a lot of what happens is a cover up. Can't have the masses becoming uncontrollable. It's like a war zone waiting to happen. And nothing to prevent it. However, I think we as citizens have a right to know so we can protect ourselves and loved ones.

Hi Bird peeps. Hope everyone had a good "V" day. I was forgotten about by everyone who knows me in real life. Go figure... No flowers, not one card in the mail box, not even a short but simple phone call for Nopie.... Oh well..

Blue, I'm SO glad your father is well. I prayed for you all. It looks like the Lord decided to do more than just heal your father, he decided it was time to heal your family too!

Two times in my life I've had surgeries on "V" day myself. Both of those surgeries were on my spine.
(LOL, no flowers sent to me while I was in the hospital then either, hehe. I guess I'm just one of those "forgotten about" kind of people and not one of the "unforgettable")!

So what about that meteor that hit Russia today?? WHY weren't they able to know that one was coming? Did they know, but decide to keep it quiet to avoid mass hysteria perhaps?? I know that the news is reporting on thousands of injuries so far. The videos are quite unnerving, to say the least. Even a roof collapsed on a factory. Windows were blown out for many, many, miles.

Here is one of the videos sets. Allow the first one to complete and another one will follow automatically:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/15/mete...

Pretty scary stuff considering that there was NO warning given about this incoming meteor.. Yet the scientific near miss of asteroid DA14 was televised for months. Why wasn't anyone told of THIS one?? I still say it was to keep mass hysteria down..

Here ya go, Hemp. I found this one not long ago. This is the site that they claim ONE fragment landed. I find the photo a bit odd though. Looks more like someone just threw a stick of dynamite into the water to me. If something came down at that speed, then why is so little of the ice disturbed around that "hole". You'd think the entire surface of the lake would have been disturbed somewhat, right? But yet they show people walking on it....

I got my card today. Not really funny just about hanging together. I guess, I'm too serious. It said we are together even if we are barely hanging on. I am glad to be thought of though that's what matters. I hope, you are feeling well. Happy Belated Valentines, May your Health turn around soon. Hugs your way gal;) I'd called you. I had received flowers the last several years boy was I shocked this one. Sure liked AB's posts about the cat pawing at the door like a rabbit. Rainy day.

Heck, I've been forgotten about every single "V" day since 1999. So it's nothing new. Last year alone, I sent out 8 bouquets to the people in my family that I love very dearly. Spent so much money ordering them online that my bank actually called to make sure my credit card number hadn't gotten stolen or was hacked. I got two measly 'thank you' phone calls.... So I decided that enough was enough.

This year I sent nothing and got nothing, not even a phone call. It is what it is.... Everyone is much busier with their lives than I am, I suppose. But I've gotten to the point that once I finally realized NOT to expect anyone to go out of their way as far as I'm concerned, then I'm not all that disappointed any more when they don't.
Well, not much anyway. Occasional surprises would be SO nice though. Or a two minute phone call at the very least.

Well, they should have not been too busy to call and let you know they care. Just might get a surprise perhaps. Anyway, some peeps care. You have a pleasant evening. I have to be going.

Honey, the only surprise I'll get is NO surprises.

I've got it good, so I have no right to complain I guess... I've been blessed with a good mind for saving and investing my bucks. And I was healthy enough to work hard while I was able to make the most of it. Like I said, it is what it is.

I'd do anything in the world for my family, but I've decided that doing these things that get taken for granted are going to stop.
(Although I doubt some of them will even notice, ROFLMBO)!
:)

Good evening bird threaders. How is everyone tonight? I had posted and got a phone call and went running around with my sister and neice. Needed to pick up some weekend supplies. Weather iffy, son is bringing his girlfriend to watch the UK game tomorrow (our first one without our star
:( and we need him), so I need gametime snacks. Easy meal. Thinking of going mexican (tacos, burritos, refried beans, chips/sauce, bought some taco bowls too. Plus the fixings for rice krispie treats he has loved since he was little, the homemade kind, not the store bought ones. lol

"Nope", I had Valentine greetings and videos for everyone, but let me say HAPPY BELATED VALENTINE'S DAY. You should just buy yourself something every year "to you, from you". haha I always do, just in case, I have always gotten something from Mom (who's gone now), son, ex's, a couple times my brother, my boss, and would hate not to have anything on a special day. A gesture is always better than nothing. A call, even a homemade card. I have never been a material girl, but always seem to get something. lol

Well we have posted plenty on the Russia scare between Nope and myself, luckily we missed the big one by 15 minutes.

Earth saved! Asteroid hurtling through space just misses planet as it passes Earth by 17,150 miles
Gone in 15 minutes!

‘If we were in our orbit 15 minutes earlier than we will be this afternoon, then it would hit us,’ says astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson

That was close!

A 150-foot asteroid just missed hitting the earth Friday by 17,150 miles, which in space terms means we dodged a bullet.

“If we were in our orbit 15 minutes earlier than we will be this afternoon, then it would hit us,” astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, director of the Hayden Planetarium, told WNYC radio.

That video was hilarious. We had a chilly day, at one time it rained and turned to sleet, stopped a few minutes after the sleet mixed in and the sun came out and shined all day. Just cold now.

I hope you are having a great evening.:)

All hail Baby! Heroic pit bull saves family, 5 dogs from fire

Pit bulls have a bad name, but not because of dogs like Baby. The pit bull terrier is being called a hero after saving her owners from a fire that ravaged their Wellston, Okla., home. Rhonda Westenberger and her sister, Evelyn, were asleep when Baby rushed to their sides, barking and pouncing on Evelyn until she woke up — in the nick of time. "If Baby hadn't woken Evelyn up, I don't think either one of us would have come out of it," Westenberger said. But Baby wasn't done. She returned to save the family's five other dogs, dragging out one that was hiding underneath a bed. "She is my hero," Westenberger said. "She's the hero for all of us." [Source]

I have posted many videos over the last two years of dogs, cats, even a bird saving their owners. Animals are amazing.

I will continue to monitor those sinkholes like the earthquakes. There may be a connection and they are a serious threat to all states, not just Louisiana. Very disturbing.
I never believed the truth was being given on that nuclear reactor in Japan after than enormous earthquake. Very disturbing indeed. Plus, I am still seeing the planes spraying. There were two out yesterday zipping across the sky with their chemtrails above the big fluffy clouds in that beautiful blue sky. That disturbs me too. Still think it is possibly shielding us from flares, emp attack etc...or simply just messing with the weather. Many have said after they spray it rains, I am seeing that as a fact pretty much. It usually does rain the next day or two after.
That sinkhole in Louisiana has resulted in increased seismic activity, so there is definitely a link. As far as the chaff from chemspraying, I can only conjecture that, at the very least, this has to be affecting our health. Breathing in particulate matter consisting of barium and aluminum is toxic. Aluminum has even been implicated as a possible cause for Alzheimer's disease. Barium can be tolerated if given in small doses for diagnostic medical tests for the GI tract, but there are no good reasons for inhaling the stuff. That has got to cause or exacerbate respiratory conditions.

Larry and Leanne got it on and spawned a rare Sumatran tiger cub

File this one under "Things That Make You Go 'Aw.'" A Sumatran tiger named Leanne gave birth to a healthy, adorable cub at the San Francisco Zoo over the weekend. A Sumatran tiger birth is rare not only in captivity but also in the wild, where there are fewer than 400 of the endangered cats left. Mother and baby are bonding and "all signs seem to be positive," the zoo said. The gender of the baby, fathered by a tiger named Larry, who was transferred from another zoo for breeding, won't be known until its first examination in two weeks. It also has yet to be named. Perhaps, in keeping with its parents' names, something starting with an "L"?[Source]

ER doc's touching letter to patient's family goes viral

http://news.msn.com/pop-culture/er-docs-touch...

I read this and it reminded me of my Mom's doctor and some of his nurses that came to her service. I could never work in the health care profession. It would just kill me to lose people I grew fond of. I seen while she battled cancer. I admire the people who heal and nurse them back to health and yes even prepare them for the worse scenario. There are some truly gifted people out there. I so appreciated the ones we have grown to love. They are really special and dear to our hearts.

That was sweet of him to do and that family will cherish it forever.

I would never ridicule another person's God-given appearance, but I have to chuckle at the Hollywood celebrities who spend big bucks to mess with their already attractive appearances. If you have some free time, google plastic surgery gone wrong. Yikes, some of 'em look downright scary. They have a set of lips that rival the orangutangs' swollen, red butts when they come in season. LOL I was shocked when I saw a video about women who have artificial implants to make their butts bigger. Can you imagine?? And I spent all my time dieting to make my butt smaller. If this is the coming fashion, I'll just have an extra helping of dessert.

Oh, yeah...I once bought a tube of lipstick, that when I applied it, it burned my lips. The first time, I thought that my lips were hurting because they were chapped from winter dryness. The second time it happened, I decided that it had to be the new lipstic. When I looked at the ingredients, I was shocked to discover that the lipstick contained very finely ground glass. Apparently, this irritated the lips and caused them to swell. Well, that lipstick hit the garbage bucket quickly. Can you imagine!!! What the heck are women willing to do to make themselves attractive!! It's insane.

I haven't checked the sinkholes today but the earthquakes are down for us. The sites I read about that toxic

Barium: The Poison No One Talks About Barium is just as dangerous as arsenic, mercury and lead. It shows up regularly in public water supplies and yet there is almost no awareness of it.
Exposure to small amounts of barium, dissolved in water, may cause a person to experience these problems:
1. Breathing difficulties
2. Increased blood pressure
3. Heart rhythm changes
4. Stomach irritation
5. Muscle weakness
6. Alterations in nerve reflexes
7. Damage to your brain, liver, kidney and heart
When Barium is continually sprayed in the atmosphere it falls to earth and will get in water supplies.(-- Duh!)

Unanswered Chemtrail
Questions... As Evidence Mounts
©By Dr. Ilya Sandra Perlingieri
6-7-9

With the groundbreaking research and unswerving personal dedication of Clifford Carnicom, Dr. Gwen Scott, and many others belonging to the various "skywatch" groups around the country, it becomes increasingly evident that the criminal aerosol Chemtrails assault to which we are continuously subjected is creating unmitigated havoc.(1)
Our immune systems are all under daily and constant siege. Here are some urgent, but unanswered questions relating to the ten-year-plus impact of possibly billions of tons of a poisonous soup of chemtrails, being sprayed on us, by military and commercial planes, for all of us to contemplate.(2) We must demand answers from officials --before our country is destroyed and a police state ensues. The window for accountability is increasingly small. Right now, all we have is a crumbling façade of deception by government officials. Connecting the dots for all of us becomes more urgent with each passing toxic day.
Look up at the sky! Really, look up. Look up frequently. Look up every day! The clouds are not real. The bizarre weather we now experience, on a daily basis, changes significantly throughout each day! Look at the planes with their deadly aerosols assaulting us! Watch how these "trails" spread and merge, and create a greyish cover over our skies. Last month, from Portland, Oregon, to Portland, Maine, I saw massive Chemtrail aerosol operations. Within a few hours, I received numerous calls from health-care providers about the spike in emergency room visits for upper respiratory problems.
None of this is natural! This level of toxicity may be mostly invisible, but it is not safe.
