Yep. You gotta watch out for that kind of critter. "Wagging tails" don't always mean mans best friend. Or womans, for that matter.

Yes I have used those once or twice and it is not really a credit card. You pay cash up front at locations such as Walmart and such and is not much different than buying a Lowe's or other location's gift cards except there is a small fee included. The card is reuseable by loading more money to the balance, but I never did. I used it for an exact amount.
Yep that's what I'm talking about. If I was going to buy something online I would use one of those and for the exact amount. I haven't ever bought anything online unless I could do it through their physical address and send the money.

If I keep thinking about all this stuff I am going to end up making some more changes, even more drastic! lol

If we can do it anyone can do it. lol I didn't see any birds at my feeder but heard some in the trees and the one who builds a nest in my downspout every year. I love seeing the Cardinals. Only seen one here lately. Love those pretty bright males. Seems like the females should be the bright red. lol
I hope you have a fine day una. Stay warm. It has dropped from 58 degrees at midnight to 38 degrees with some lfurries expected. Brrr, I hate being cold. Wish I could just stay home today, but got things to do and have to go out. Ugh
I have more Cardinals than any kind. They are pretty. I bet the Red males think the females are pretty even if they are brownish-red. Lol. Believe it or not my kitty cat doesn't bother birds at all. He will kill, moles, snakes and mice and lay them for me to see. He caught a baby squirrel one day and was laying beside it as if he was guarding it. I couldn't believe it, the squirrel was unharmed in any way. It went to sleep in my hand while rubbing it. Then I thought, no way enough pets. I put it in a hollow tree out back, maybe the parents found it. LOL.

I don't care what friends or enemies think. I find it really easy to let the guys swarm all over and competing for the attention of the skinny women and I just stroll right on by and go see the chunky ones and let them compete for attention from me. LOL

That was not mean at all, just frugal. If I can see that really nice 350 pound woman at the Dollar Store, I won't have to run all over town looking at the skinny ones and wasting money. LOL Besides, those skinny ones probably get enough lookers already. Just sharing the LOVE lol.
Well maybe in a slightly twisted way it was kind of sweet then. LOL You know, one of those skinny women wouldn't be worth a dang at keeping a man warm AND could you really trust a skinny cook? LOL

Good day everyone! Still drizzling rain here and didn't get much sleep last night. A thunderstorm hit here at around 4 a.m. and woke up every critter in the house. When the critters wake up, they're just like kids. Gotta get Mom up too... I plan on taking a rainy day nap sometime this afternoon.
(Glad I didn't find a bat in here last night! I don't think I'd have blown a hole through the ceiling, but I'm sure a few things would have gotten broken during the chase down).
On a more fun note, I just finished cross pollinating some of my Christmas and Thanksgiving Cacti. One of the ones I decided to cross was an heirloom red Christmas cactus with a lavender Thanksgiving cactus... I'm anxious to see what kind of seed develops, eventually to find out what kind and color of flower I'll see in about a year, LOL! You gotta have a high patience level with these succulents, but it's SO worth the wait.
(By the way, I gave you a heart, a check mark and a bright bulb on your comments too, Imposter. I only see a couple of missing comments, so are you behaving this morning? The missing ones might not even be yours. But I knew you could do it, You too Una! I gave you some checks, nice bulbs and hearts also. It's nice to see everyone getting along)!!
Well, I've got things to do unless I loose my motivation within the next few minutes, which I've been known to do. Maybe I'll be back later. Maybe I'll just hang around. Or maybe I'll just have "one more" cup of coffee, roflmbo!
Oh my virgin ears, that's a bit racy, talking about cactuses breeding. And the very idea, you helping them. Geesh.

My cat is that way too, Una. Never has he bothered the birds. But moles, snakes and mice surely better beware.. I always thought that maybe he just left the birds alone due to being lazy and too well fed. But it takes some stealth to catch a mouse or a mole... So who knows. Maybe he's just smart enough to know that killing the birds will only piss off the "keeper of the kibble"....

LOL! I hear ya. My grandma was THE best cook. And skinny, she most certainly was NOT. Never met a skinny cook that made much of anything that left a a lasting impression on my palate.

Exactly, and they are probably too busy putting so much time and money into staying skinny that they don't have time for a man. LOL

I need to lose weight and my boyfriend needs to quit smoking sooo I come up with this deal that I would lose a certain amount of weight and he would quit smoking. I finally got him to agree to it. Well, I still need to lose that weight and he still needs to quit smoking! LOL He flat out cheats! He keeps bringing in chocolate and all kinds of stuff because he likes those chunky women and doesn't want to quit smoking! Like I really need the help! lol

I love to watch the Cardinals. At least the Kentucky State Bird Cardinals. lol My fat gray stray I feed and sleeps on my porch never bothers them. He don't even look up when they fly in to tap the feeder. I use to have a cat years ago in Tennessee that would bring me baby rabbits, squirrels, field mice etc and drop it at my front door. Never ate them or were they mangled. It was like he was bringing me gifts. One time one of the rabbits was still alive. I picked it up with a towel, rubbed it gently and then carried it back to the edge of the woods and set it free. It cracked me up as it was hopping away, it stopped and turned to look at me, either to see if something was chasing it and it was a trap or just to say thanks. I go with the latter. Thanks for the memory your post brought back. I loved that cat. I had it seven years and still miss it. That was sweet what you did. You are starting to amaze me with all your good posts. Please keep it up. Thanks

I hope everyone has a great day. We just had a bit of sleet pinging the windows and doors. I wish I could I could stay in "slug mode" today, but I am off to run errands and see my sister. Take care everyone. Stay warm and please keep the thread positive. It is extremely nice to see. Wow, the Christmas spirit has hit the bird thread.:)

Be back later.

Someone asked uglygirl if she smoked after we did, well you know. My darling told them she had never looked to see.

Sometimes my kitty cat eats the snake. I told him to go for it, he caught it. Yep the old boy, well semi-boy gets Purina One for urinary tract problems, he loves the stuff.

Not a good day for looking out the window for bird watching, but I can look at the little creek in front of the homestead. It is really rolling. We used to have a term for long periods of rain such as this. We called those "Frog stranglers".

I think you're right, It must be the Christmas spirit. I may even put on my Christmas hat that I made. Mistletoe is hanging on a string from a birch branch in front of it. I can sneak up on women and have that mistletoe over their head before they are any the wiser.
I was wondering why I'm feeling....Not as mean, as usual today.
I wonder how long it'll take for it to wear off?
I would still like to see those....Ahem, never-mind.
