Thank you. I would be honored to be your friend unless this is "wow" from early on in the thread when we were discussing Native American prophecies and stories. Survival skills etc. I loved those times and we were basically troll free. Anyway, thanks for the kind words and interesting posts. Ignore the misfits. They mock everything, God, Soldiers, people they don't know, and now it appears their posts that are the worst mocking Native Americans are getting swept out pretty fast. I hope you will continue to post. Most will find your words very interesting. I seen you had 9 happy icons (more than usual, when you open up the thread you usually see the mean ones displayed lol).

I had to reread the posts I wrote to see where there was an indication I was yanking unafarts nanny's chain. Guess she recognized herself among the troll talk and took offense when I seen this vague statement. "wow" use to post early on. Great Native American stories we enjoyed. Great links and music. Really enjoyed the video you posted. I posted this one way back then for Ancient Wolf, aka "Tall Walker" because of all the wolves, Eagles (which I love and collect) the pictures, and the reminder that the Native Americans were here first. No turkey for me. I am THANKFUL that I have my sardines for my noon meal and vienna sausages product for the evening.

Both of those are much better than what the Patriots endured for our Freedom when they wintered at Valley Forge and had an even worse winter at Morristown New Jersey the following year even though Valley Forge is high lighted in the History books.

Those poor souls were even eating the bark off the trees and boiling their shoe leather to make a soup. So whatever you have today... BE THANKFUL.... it could be worse.

Turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed taters, sweet pot casserole, green beans , turnip greens, cranberry's with apple sauce, pinto beans, a small pon of cornbread, rolls, chicken and dumplings,deviled eggs, and for sweeets, egg and chess pie, and a red velvet cake. Not alot but oh so much more than many will see today...Hope all are feed, warm and loved... Good Day...

I also find it interesting and somewhat repugnant that Prussian Baron Von Steuben (Friedrich Wilhelm Augustus Von Steuben) came to the Continental Army and established the first military training manual and converted Washington's rag-tag diverse militia into a fighting force at Valley Forge.

He had volunteered his services to other armies, but was refused a position due to his tendencies to consort with young boys.

All of my immediate family (with the exception of me) have careers that require them to work today and while I am most THANKFUL that they are not within the ranks of the unemployed, we won't do any feasting until Saturday.

I guess Von Steuben could be considered the father of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"
