Seems the only way to stop this is my suggestion above, in Ohio they get wrote up for this every time they are in violation and after 3 writeups they fire them, no police unions to save their sorry asses because its all logged on tape,GPS and computer

how did my post get turned in to anything other then a safety issue caused by the police around here? You guys are changing the topic. I don't give a shit if one got gunned down in a traffic stop or whatever ..The topic is "dangerous driving police" not the man is out to scare everyone or they can act stupid because of a traffic violation gone bad . It has nothing to do with the topic/subject at hand

not all are bad sandy, just most. I am friends with a friend of that girl that got killed on hurstborne from one of these tough guy cops going 80. Dont make excuses for them, they know damn good and well their pricks and they flat out dont care. I feel for the widows i really do, but in the end your either for the constitution and the people or your against it.
More power to you.But if my house gets burglarized,i will damn sure be calling the police.Pricks? I think the pricks ae the ones commiting murders and selling drugs to our kids, not the ones who are hauling them off to jail, and putting their lives in danger.

I don't believe all cops are evil, It's just some are crazy. They are supposed to be supervised by their commanding officers but it don't work out that way. I heard they are not hiring any new cops with an IQ greater than 100.

These days they are all riding around with assault rifles in the trunk with body armor and helmets. And lots of ammo and magazines.

I know this because half of my family are in law enforcement.

You guys should hear the stories they tell Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Quit changing the subject, the point is they drive recklessly, endangering people's lives and nothing is done about it in Kentucky, the technology is there and not being used and should be used.

I agree. And you are right about it being a dangerous job. I know that maybe 1 out of every 50 or so people that cops pull over is going to start trouble and even go as far as shooting at officers, but the truth of the matter is this, over 1/2 the police that are out there right now are d*ckheads on a power trip, and cops bring most of the hostility on themselves with their "Better than you" attitude. The reason that police act this way is because nobody will stand up to them. The Police Force and County Government protects them when they are out of line, and I mean honestly, who would wanna stand up to them, just to get beat down, tazed, and thrown in jail. Just because a cop has a badge and a gun does not make them better than anyone else. And I know that there are some good cops still out there. But there are far more bad ones then good ones. And that is a fact.

How come police in Kentucky don't know how to drive and never obey the laws they enforce. I drive from east-end to jeffersonville week days. If its not recklessly speeding its tail gating or erratically switching multiple lanes. I know for a fact in the state of Ohio the highway patrol has GPS,laptop, emergency lights and camera all integrated and if the emergency lights aren't on they get wrote up. After 3 times they fire them. We need this here!!!!! If they are in a Fucking hurry they should have the lights on!!!
Because they are ABOVE the law... duh! Cops need to be above the law to enforce the law. That's how the law works. The law is a rouse for them to act in their psychotic sadistic barbarian ways.
