now this is alot more, than relious billboards on private property, placed in public view, this is state money going to praise, a sinful act by a indivual. i believe this is a violation too promote sin, before the public. if we do this we're just saying its ok to live this kind of life style, no matter what color or race you may be. we're all created equal in Gods eyes, & sin has no color or race.
thank you

It actually appears to be a "character assissination" and can NOT believe "brother" Jessie or any of the others who knew him are just letting this happen. I'm not black, but what Dr. King tried to do went FAR BEYOND the "color of our skin"! Why doesn't Thomas Jefferson's "mistress" have streets named for her? That was over 200 years ago, IF doing such a thing as naming streets after the mistresses of our leaders is such an "honor", then why aren't there any others before now?

She was the First State Senator of Kentucky, who was Black, and who was a Woman, and who was a Black Woman. She wins all of those distinctions.

What Dr. King was most noted for, before he was shot, was T-R-O-U-B-L-E Maker. One time he was coming to Eminence, KY. The town Counsel sent word to him to stay away from Eminence, they didn't want the town tore up, after he left. They didn't want the town left in flames.
He cost town after town millions of dollars in damage after he made a march, then hurried out of town. He was far from a Peace Maker. I suppose the government had to do something to bring peace about. Whites came up with that plan to get the Blacks to calm down. You can't have someone stirring up Black People all over the United States. It had to be stopped. No one since has stepped up, they are at peace with their H-E-R-O and a holiday named in his honor. Rest in Peace MLK.
