Let's close 'em all down and then open some new ones in different locations! I'm glad businesses have options when they file for bankruptcy...individuals file and they can't do much of anything for 7 frikkin' years or so...guess it's time to start 'ME Inc.'...then I can just do whatever...

I paid 45.00 for bench at a Fashion Shop store in Louisville Ky. went back to pick it up a few days later and found that the store was closed. Can anyone reading this provide any information for me as to how to get my bench. It's still sitting there in the store with my
'paid" tag on it. I had no idea this store was closing until I went back to pick up my bench.

Yah, I didn't know they were going to close all of a sudden, either. I found a pair of jeans that I wanted, and when I returned to pick them up a couple days later, the store was closed. Where are all those clothes going?!! They're NOT just going to walk off. might I obtain access to them [without breaking in the store!]??

No one ever notified me.
The store location was cleared out including my bench and I still have not been notified to pick up my bench. I can't believe I just donated 45.00 to the Bank Ruptsy of the Fashion Shop. What ever name they re-open under doesn't matter to me I'll never shop with those crooks again. Everytime I think about it I get sick at my stomach.

Anet, Your bench is probably at the store in Evansville. When I was in there they told me that all of their stores were shipping their merchandise to Evansville to sell. They were open for a while but now they're closed too. All that
merchandise just sitting in there. There should be a law!

When the US Federal Court ordered Fashion Shop to close back in 2007 all merchandise went to the creditors not the owners of Fashion Shop with no notice to give to customers. The creditors most likely sold everything off on their own. Sorry for your experiences during that difficult time.
