Kids NEED to be taken to this museum and shown around, and rigorously taught everything about the Intelligent Design Theory too, because it's prime opportunity to teach them about critical thinking, about the value of the scientific method, about what happens when people discard mountains of objective evidence in favor of old time religion...

...there's so much to learn from such a place. The real dinosaurs are the ones who built the museum.

I've been to the Creation Museum and it is awesome! It's easier for me to believe that some great being created everything, than for me to believe I originated from a blob. If we came from monkeys, which came from reptiles and fish, why aren't we still seeing these things happen? Should i be buying season tickets to the zoo and wait for all the apes coming through to slowly start turning into humans? If evolution is real, what stopped it? Shouldn't humans be continuing to evolve even more? I guess we should be expecting super humans in the next hundreds years or so. Seems like people have so many reason why creationism is wrong. The real question is can you tell me why evolution is right? My opinion (which i'm entitled to, as well as you), I'll stick with the Bible and it's facts (which have been proven time and time again). It least it gives me something that actually makes sense.

Your "truth" is easier for you to swallow because it's easier to understand. What do you know about Darwin's theory that you didn't learn in church? Can you tell me why Einstein's theories are right? Can you explain why Maxwell's equations are valid to this day? Do you understand why Newton's laws of motion are still accepted, hundreds of years after they were formulated?

If not, do you maintain that they're all false?

Do you know the difference between Darwin's theory (which has nothing whatsoever to say on the origin of life) and the cosmologists' model of the first nanoseconds of the universe?

Can you explain why your computer works? Do you argue that it doesn't work if you can't understand it?

This reply makes no sense. "Can you explain why your computer works? Do you argue that it doesn't work if you can't understand it?" There are millions of people who don't know how computers work (I however am well educated in computers & physics since i hold a degree in Computer Engineering. Just thought I would throw that in since you like to stereotype people who go to church.)yet they use them everyday to send email and such. They don't understand them but yet the computer IS working. It's not that believing God created everything is easy to swallow, it's because when you step back and look at the complexity of every living being and the precise details, down to protons and neutrons, there is no way you can convince me that these things just happened on their own. The brain is so complexed, humans can't even begin to come close to tapping into it's total capabilities. Those things just don't happen! I attended a secular university, so Yes, I am aware of survival of the fittest. I have heard all sides and have chosen what I find to be the truth, not what's easiest to swallow.

Religion attempts to answer the why. It SHOULD NOT attempt to answer the how. Leave that to science.

Wrong! Science is easy, for it makes sense; but to keep up with all the nonsense of religion is very difficult, since it makes no sense at all.

God did not createe hate, nor can He for it is impossible for evil to dwell in heaven. God created man with the power of choice. If we were not given the power of choice, then we would be robots. We are not robots. How dearly we are paying for the choices of mankind over the ages. WE have created the mess we are in. Please don't blame it on God.

Weird! So basically no "born-again" "Christians" (how tiring that quotes are necessary!) will be in heaven?
So you're a Shavian? That's the only version of a semi-Christian Heaven that made any impression, if only as a metaphor.

Please read some real books, including some not by real Christians.

Another example of why "Poe's Law" is so true.

Ignorance of this kind is like the fool's perfection: it's the result of endless and determined practice.

How sad this is, and how potentially dangerous to others,

Even most creationists have given up on trying to defend that one. There are a lot of links on this page if you want to know more about it.

I think intelligent design should be taught in school because it is so easy to prove how stupid the whole notion is. What the right-wing Christians don't seem to get about imposing their religion based "science" in the schools is that it could backfire on them, and children might learn from using the scientific method and comparing theories that the Genesis story can't hold up to any scientific scrutiny whatsoever. What really amazes me is that Christian fundamentalists are always complaining how evolutionary biology doesn't make sense and it's a theory with flaws, yet these are the same people who believe in the Garden of Eden, Noah's Ark, and a 6 day creation, and other Biblical fairy tales when there is no evidence that supports the stories in the Bible or their faith based "science." Right-wing Christians can't scientifically prove God exists in the here and now. Instead, they want us to bow down before an edited book written two thousand years ago in Hebrew(a language they can't understand) by a few old Jewish dudes, as if their words are the only say on the whole matter of creation, the universe and scientific discovery. And, if you don't believe in this mad fairy tale of theirs, you will rot in hell(got to scare the masses into believing their myths instead of relying on facts), another place that has never been proven to exist. Oh, and by the way, keep sending those tithe checks in so we can protect society from those evil, nasty non-believers who refuse to believe in our "science." I have to say one thing about right-wing American Christians, they really know how to run a good racket.
