when i have kids cable TV is outta here. Take my advice people...run from TV as far as you can and run these useless cable corps outta business. TV causes anti social disorders as well as influencing the weak minded. Whether science backs up assumption or not TV does shape who you are and TV is crap.

yeah, your absolutely right! The internet is worse, but not by much...however with the net you have a little more control with what you watch, TV is just complete garbage on every channel. Hey what part of Louisville you live pigskins?

U do whatever u want, but not ur "loved" ones? Seems like ur the biggest hypocrite to hit the galaxy... u eva heard of Golden Rule. It's do unto others as you would have them do unto to u, and if u dont like to bow down to another's will, then y would u force urself on ur kids like that? That's nasty. If u truly love somebody, then u let them b free. If u love power, then u subordinate others, and master over them, like a lord over his slave.

I'd love to smack the hell outta a Nazi like u, who wants to beat up kids... go f yoself. And that's all yall ever did. Suggest violence... death... destruction... u a good person? Nah... u want to put ur will on an innocent child, and rob their innocence away from them, and make sure they understand, that there's no body in this world that can be trusted. That's all AmeriKKKa has, and will ever, do. 5,000 assaults ain't a crime, but self defense is? Nah... u f-ed up in the head, and u should just sliturwrists, and kellyoself b/c u people r an absolute waste.

Sounds more like you are trying to cut off your child's access to outlets of information an knowledge.

As my daddy the politician said "Keep 'em stupid and they will let you steal their money, kill their kids and rape their wives, and THANK YOU FOR IT. Smart people who can think for themselves are dangerous people."

pity, Rev. My kids very much enjoy watching the Discovery and National Geographic channels, and those are even educational. Plus, the Sprout channel which is pretty fantastic for small children. Good educational childrens programming that's fun to watch. We don't watch a lot of tv, but with cable I get to choose when and what we watch, and some of the children's channels don't have advertisements, which is what I have a problem with more than anything on tv. Not to mention, I appreciate that channels such as the ones listed also allow my kids to see and understand that all families are different, and cultures are different, even food. I think it's important that my kids don't think all families everywhere are just like ours- it naively instills ignorance.

are you so stupid as to think television is the only source of information? Are you implying TV makes you smarter. Go watch more tv then because you must not be getting enough.

it astounds me how people are so brainwashed into defending their TV. Google. ExCIA operative warns against television programming. Dont take his word for it...also you tube subliminal messaging in television, amongst good ones to see are, strange tom and jerry episode, gijoe illuminati, and many more. Warning : not for children. The constant pattern of switching between show and commercial could have adverse effects such as ADD. Here is an experiment, video tape yourself watching tv and your kids, and pay attention to the numb, dumbed down, herp derp look on your faces as you are completely engrossed in filthy TV programming.

of course there are books Revelations, don't be ridiculous. I have an extensive library at home. My children are very well exposed to books of all kinds. I'm a writer afterall, lol. I read Shakespeare beside their cribs lol. My son takes after me and has developed a love for Poe, while my daughter prefers stories of the fantastical and the fairy tales- the original ones, not that watered down Disney garbage. Currently we are reading Norse mythology. My boy is especially fond of Thor. I suspect its because he finds he relates to him in character strength. That being said, even though my books are my most prized possesions- no amount of words can quite capture the imagery of an exploding volcano, life under the sea, or outer space as well as a good national geographic or discovery documemtary. Point being, good programming can and does have a place for children. And by the way, when you have kids- if you send them to school whether it be public or private, they WILL watch television or movies there that correspond with the subject they are learning at the time.

Oh. The rev won't send his kids to school. If he were to actually ever conceive any. That in itself is a scary thought. I'm confident that he would prefer them to be under his thumb to manipulate. To brainwash. To "save". Yea, save for himself. Similar to what he would like to try to do on topix. He speaks of others whining. Of being disillusioned brats. In my opinion that is a righteous self description for him to make. No one on topix whines more about everything. Snapping his pudsucker on the web, because no one else will tolerate it in person. Weak, simple minded person. Don't procreate. There are far too many like you in this country already. And damn sure too many in the louisville area.

thats why you shouldnt assume things..you know what they say about ASSUME. Let me translate what you said from cowardice to truth...''Ohhh just bow down before the government, do whatever they say and be a good little citizen and take your daily dose of Tv. Just stay ignorant and pretend everything is ''ok!'' your friend, prediction. Heres for you that skip to the end translation,'' go back to sleep sheep.''

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Taurus

Try hard not to let money or possessions come between you and a friend today, unless it's over something that has got to be sorted out before it goes any further. For instance, if someone owes you money and has consistently failed to pay it back, this is a good day for mentioning it to them and finding out what's going on. If necessary, you may have to be quite vehement.
