I would be interested in discussing the legend of the Welsh prince Madoc and the white indians...I have been reading a great deal lately about this particular legend and have found out that there is actually quite a bit regarding Madoc that occurred in and around the Ohio River in our area...i would love to find out if there is public access to either Rose Island or Sand Island and do either of them still exist or has the Ohio River claimed them...Madoc is reported to have discovered and colonized America almost 200-300 before Columbus...any comments ?

there are 12 of these videos do ou know which one actually deals with Prince Madoc...by the way thanks for links I also like to devour anything regarding Atlantis...so do you believe Atlantis really existed???? I personally do...there have been too many legends that have been proven factual...take the lost city of Troy for one...if Schliemann had not believed in the legend would we ever have discovered Troy...in time we probably would have

Irish Banshee: None deal with Prince Madoc. I am suggesting that to understand the world we live in, one needs to understand the beginning. Michael Tsarian explains how things got started. In later videos he speaks of the Irish origins of civilization. And how civilization moved from West (Atlantis/Ireland) to East (Egypt and Babylon)

You have probably already googled (Welsh prince
Madoc) there are 53,000 pages.

I googled (corn island Ohio river) It's vanished by 1869.

Sand island is still there, you can see it by driving north on 28th street until you reach the river. They take the Bell there sometimes for repairs.

I saw a piece on the history channel about the The Kensington Runestone similar to Prince Madoc.

I read the Templar trilogy by Jack Whyte, it's about the history of the Knights Templars. The existence of America was well known in the Ancient World. I believe history as it is taught in school is a complete lie. Our real history has been hidden. But then my family thinks I see conspiracy everywhere.

yorick thanks for info on islands...i knew one of them had already been claimed by Ohio...
I saw the same piece on the kensington runes on history channel...excellent piece...history channel is one of the few things i watch on tv
i dont think it is conspiracy at all...history as we know it is not what has really happened...i totally agree with you on that on as well...i believe in atlantis please dont laugh but i also believe in ET...take a look at how our technology has jumped since "Roswell"...and it took us how long to get to the point we were then...and in the last 50 or so yrs we have made major advancements....something is definitely up with that..history is written by those that win not the losers nor the truth...but hey my family thinks i am alittle weird too...LOL

i also devour anything i can get ahold of on the templars as well...i find them to be a most fascinating group...the illuminati, etc as well...
have you seen the piece on Oak Island and the Templar treasure...something is up with that as former president FDR not only went there but contributed abit of $$$ to the dig/investigation...
i think in time there will be alot of stuff that no one believes is real that will be proved real...and then will it rock us to our foundations when we find we have been living in the blind...LOL...i think it will the weak minded person..but me i like to question things...rather than just take it for face value...
by the way i am of irish descent so there are alot of things i believe in...lol not that just being irish makes it so...there are alot of unexplained things there and in the british isles...stonehenge, avebury, glastonbury/avalon etc...

Irish Banshee: Michael Tsarian goes into all of that ETs, hidden technology, altered history. If the truth was known, the technology exists where we could all live like millionaires. Google (Tesla Electric Car). Tesla had a electric car in 1936 that ran for two weeks at speeds of 90mph without needing a charge. Check out Richard Hoagland's web site for UFO technology. http://www.enterprisemission.com/
You can find these guys on youtube. Michael Tsarian really explains it well.

The problem with prince Madoc and the white Indians, is there is no physical evidence. There is evidence of Indian habitation along the falls of the Ohio going back 1000 years BC. I can't tell from your posts if you are new to this area. I don't want to embarrass myself by telling something you already know. On the Indiana side of the river is the Falls Of Ohio park. They have a welcome center with some stuff. There is also the Filson Club on South 3rd that has lots of historical stuff. I hope that I have been helpful and not a boar.

no not new to area...i have been to the falls of ohio and their little museum...there is actually a representation on madoc on the other side of the mastodon skeleton there as well...they also have a little blurb about him as well..as for evidence there has been evidence found however it was found when the are was first colonized or during the 1800's and has since been lost...the reason i was inquiring about the islands is because the book i am currently reading mentions them as far as to say that there are remains of some type of hillfort/habitation dating prior to lewis and clark..however it also goes on to say that alot of the stones used in these fortification were taken by settlers to build homes, etc..there have been bones, etc found that are not indian in origin..they were causcasiod(spelling)but like the artifacts they too have been lost to time...i just would like to get out to one of the islands and hike it just for the sake of curiosity
tesla was a very interesting person that i do not think has been given enough credit to date for some of his inventions/findings...am aware of the filson club but have not yet ever made it there...as for the ET thing that really is just my opinion not anyone else...i just find it a conundrum(spelling)..anyway thanks for input..:)

there was also a big battle at the falls of the ohio between the indians and a race of what they referred to as white indians lead by someone with blonde hair...maodc legends run up and down the mississippi...the indians were actually amazed that white settlers settled here because they considered these dark lands because of the ancient battle which is said to have occurred around a part of the ohio river referred to as the big eddy..have you ever heard of that...per the book i am currently reading is was something akin to a whirlpool...

I wish my grandmother was still alive, she was half Cherokee and half Irish. She had fantastic stories about Banshees, elves, fairies and Indians. She been a good source of information or she would have made up an entertaining story.

lol...dont mean to date myself but everytime i think of cherokee indians i will always picture ed aames as mingo - daniel boone's indian friend from the tv show...i know that is stereotypical but that is what i think of.
my ex's grandma was an indian princess off of the blue lake indian reservation in upstate new york..she was an oneida indain which was part of the iroquois nation...she had some stories to tell as well...only met her once but he would tell me some of the stuff she would tell them as kids

I thank most native Kentuckians are part Cherokee. Irish and Scottish men that came here in the 1700 didn't find many white women. Cherokee women were incredibly beautiful. I have seen pictures in old family albums. My aunts and father were 1/8 Cherokee. I traveled all over England, Wales and Scotland when I was stationed there in the Air
Force. Scotland was my favorite, it reminds me of Eastern Kentucky. The highland moors, talk about creepy. You could almost here the scream of the Banshee. Don't folks hear that and then die? I am sorry I don't know anything about Prince Modoc.

IceMan..i am most envious of you i dream of going to the highland moors.....i imagine they are rather creepy not to mention barren and lonely...but that is also probably what makes for their majestic beauty...scotland ireland and wales are at the very top of my bucket list...LOL...
yes the banshee was the spirit that was to wail when a person in the family die...not everyone hears them though...according to legend the banshees i believe are attached to families...it is like a family thing...
Prince Madoc was a welsh prince from the Gwenyynd(spelling) region of wales who according to legend sailed to the americas around 1170 long before Columbus...he is said to have landed somewhere down around Mobile Bay and came up the Mississippi..it is a very interesting legend in that there are actual records of his leaving Wales to come here not only once but 2-3 times...he never came home after the last trip so know one really knows hence the legend..he was unhappy with the way things were done/ruled in that period of time...

i personally think that the indians were way more civilized than alot of white people were at that time...for the most part they were more than willing to share with us but some people were just down right greedy and wanted it all...and because the indians lived such a simple and pure existence the white man thought they were savages and thereby gave them the right to annihilate them and move them to where the white man wanted them to be...we stole their land, their homes, their way of life, their religion, their language, etc...maybe the reason the Scotch-Irish were able to get along with the Indians had something to do with the fact they knew how that felt since the English did it to them...i will always think that what the white man did to the indian was a sin...a very big sin

Irish Banshee I got to see a lot of Scotland, I had a Highland Lassie to show me around. On the moors they had peat bogs. You could sink in a bog like quicksand. The Highlanders had a tool for harvesting peat. It looked something like a spade. They lay the peat bricks out in the sun to dry. The dried peat can be burned or used as roofing like the prairie settlers use sod to make houses. I sailed down Lock Ness we stayed one night at Fort William on the bonnie banks of Lock Lomomd.

Maybe you will get there in this life or the next one.

Did you get to see or do anything interesting in the Army.

Did you know the Catholic church had a hand in killing indian kids? The schools run by the Church were the worst. Check this out.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Indian_...

The attempt to force assimilation involved punishing children for speaking their own languages or practicing their own faiths, leading to allegations in the 20th century of cultural genocide and ethnocide. There was an elevated rate of physical and sexual abuse. Overcrowding, poor sanitation, and a lack of medical care led to high rates of tuberculosis, and death rates of up to 69 percent.

Sometines I wonder why God hasn't destoried us all.
