This afternoon, the kids and I went to Tyler Park. Although we had a great time, something upsetting happened. After we were there for around an hour, a group of 20 (yes, I counted) middle school students all of a sudden rushed into the park and assembled by the bathrooms. One of the students jump onto the roof of the bathroom. They were several yards away from us, but I could see them, and fe...el the energy in the air that something was about to happen. I suppose the kid on the bathroom roof was there to film the fight that broke out. 2 girls (one pregnant) approximately 14 years of age began punching, biting and kicking each other while their "friends" cheered them on. There were injuries. The park was not very crowded. I saw a young mother pushing a baby in a stroller stop and stare in disbelief. I phoned 911 and found out the young mother was phoning as well......To make a very long story short, the police never showed. The fight lasted a good 10 minutes, and the kids hung around for a half hour...I called the non emergency number 45 minutes after my first call, to inquire as to why the police had not showed and got attitude from the dispatcher and a promise that the sergeant would call me back and let me know what happened. I am still waiting for that call. The young mother was from Russia and so upset because she felt like she should have jumped in and helped one of the girls. I had to calm her down. She and I waited for over an hour to give our statement to the police and not one showed. 911 operator asked me if there were "Weapons" and I told her I didn't know because I had my kids far away. I guess next time I should say there are weapons and then maybe the police would come......I also found out through some research that they came from a middle school for "troubled" teens that is located in our neighborhood. I didn't know such a school existed. Tomorrow I'm going to the police station that covers that area, and found out what happened to protect and serve.

The cops were busy eating donuts. If they had come they would have been attacked by the carpet heads. And subjected to abuse by the media for defending themselves. Better to just go 10-8 and drive on.

No, let's all hide our heads like the rest of the p#ssies and act as if it's not happening. I guess you would have been one of the many to not get involved had you witnessed the aforementioned crime. Thanks. Your lack of service IS the problem. Many of us would have at least tried to stop that sh!t. Cowards won't. Obama will protect you. Please don't breathe near me, I don't want what you have.

The Police aren't here for you. They are the King's men. They are the government. They enforce the law, to make you get into trouble.
