I have to agree with you. I have several friends that have served in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and a couple that have PTSD, one of which has it so bad that he cannot even be around large crowds of people, or fireworks, or even watch graphic war movies. And they have never neglected, abused, or murdered anyone. Now don't get me wrong, PTSD is very real, and can be very traumatic, but I believe that there are people that intend to use this as an excuse to do whatever the hell they want.

Good morning ghost. A few on Facebook were trying to use the PTSD,even though they never mentioned he had it,as n excuse for him to beat that 5yo girl, and that irritated me. My father had PTSD, from serving in 2 wars,so I know its real.

Some people deal with it better than others. They gave us all kinds of shots and drugs while we were over there. I probably won't last very long.....

So far I haven't suffered any ill effects from the meds. If I talk about the fighting very much I will start to have dreams about it.

One really nasty dream occurres over and over. A couple ouences of good scotch before bedtime helps a lot.........
