Can you read and educate yourself? Mitch's wife became a board member in 2011 and made 350,000 from Wells Fargo when coal took a big hit. I swear trying to educate people in rural Ky is harder than humping your pet goat which I guess is what you people do if you're not educated enough to know that Mitch only want's your vote in return you get nothing. What has Mitch done foe Eastern Ky BTW?
If you are seriously silly enough to believe that Wells Fargo can do much of anything to influence the coal market in this country then you have not worked in coal and you don't know much about it. You might want to try to educate yourself about what Obama promised, how his EPA has carried it out with the help of Democrats all across the country. I could give a flying leap about what Wells Fargo says or does BECAUSE LAWS IN THIS COUNTRY ARE MADE BY CONGRESS, AND SIGNED BY THE PRESIDENT ASIDE FROM THE EXECUTIVE ORDERS OBAMA MAKES UP ON HIS OWN.

Show us all where Mitch McConnell voted for one piece of legislation against coal, BECAUSE NOBODY CARES WHAT SOMEBODY AT WELLS FARGO THINKS, WHEN THEY DON'T DECIDE THE LAWS. If you would stop worrying about having sex with goats and how hamsters are hung (bestiality is a terrible thing by the way) and focus on how laws are made you would see THE DEMOCRATS HAVE PROMISED TO DESTROY THE COAL INDUSTRY AND THEY HAVE DONE A PRETTY GOOD JOB OF IT.

Wells Fargo & Company is an American multinational banking and financial services holding company which is headquartered in San Francisco, California, with "hubquarters" throughout the country.[4] It is the fourth largest bank in the U.S. by assets and the largest bank by market capitalization.[5] Wells Fargo is the second largest bank in deposits, home mortgage servicing, and debit cards. In 2011, Wells Fargo was the 23rd largest company in the United States.[6]

In 2007 it was the only bank in the United States to be rated AAA by S&P,[7] though its rating has since been lowered to AA-[8] in light of the financial crisis of 2007–2012. The firm's primary U.S. operating subsidiary is national bank Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., which designates its main office as Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Wells Fargo in its present form is a result of a merger between San Francisco-based Wells Fargo & Company and Minneapolis-based Norwest Corporation in 1998 and the subsequent 2008 acquisition of Charlotte-based Wachovia. Following the mergers, the company transferred its headquarters to Wells Fargo's headquarters in San Francisco and merged its operating subsidiary with Wells Fargo's operating subsidiary in Sioux Falls.

Wells Fargo is one of the "Big Four banks" of the United States, along with JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup—its main competitors.[9][10] The company operates across 35 countries and has over 70 million customers globally.[11] In 2012, it had more than 9,000 retail branches and over 12,000 automated teller machines in 39 states and the District of Columbia. As of July 12, 2013, Wells Fargo became the world's biggest bank by market capitalization, worth $236 billion, beating ICBC.[12]

In February 2014 Wells Fargo was named the world's most valuable bank brand for the 2nd year running [13] in The Banker and Brand Finance study of the top 500 banking brands.[14]

Have you ever heard of a lobbyist? Mitch's wife is basically one for Wells Fargo.

What has Mitch done to protect the coal industry Truth? I know you're not educated enough to understand, but maybe some literate folks in Eastern Ky will educate themselves on the issues. Also, how does it feel being from a Republican County that is one of the poorest one's in the nation? Enjoy your crazy check and food stamps before Mitch and the Tea Party cut them out if they control the House and Senate.

I am not educated enough to sit around and think about bestiality but I am educated enough to know that Wells Fargo don't pass laws. If you think Perry County is a Republican County you have either never stepped foot in the county or you are too busy focusing on goats or hampsters.

Sounds to me like you are just a little hack democrat sitting around trying to throw oyster a little bs to what you think are poor ignorant hillbillies. Just so you can let Alison Grimes know all the people in this "Republican County" aren't on food stamps and crazy checks, JUST THE ONES WHO SUPPORT DEMOCRATS MOSTLY ARE.

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL, A DEMOCRAT WORKING FOR GRIMES, TRYING TO THROW OUT A LITTLE BS, LOSING THEIR TEMPER AND EXPOSING HOW DEMOCRATS AND GRIMES FEEL ABOUT EASTERN KENTUCKIANS. HILLBILLIES, HAMPSTERS, GOATS, CRAZY CHECKS AND FOOD STAMPS. THERE IT IS FOLKS THAT IS WHAT THE GOOD DEMOCRATS THINK ABOUT THOSE OF US FROM THIS "REPUBLICAN COUNTY".

You can go back to thinking about goats, you exposed yourself.

Here are a few facts.

1. We have a good democrat who believes Perry county is a " republican county"

2. That means he knows nothing about this county

3. That means he knows little about eastern Kentucky which is heavily democratic.

Now for a little deductive reasoning

1. Since his address does not show an eastern Kentucky address, and he obviously knows nothing about this county why would he be on Hazard Kentucky's topix site "educating" us?

2.. We could conclude out of the goodness of his heart he is doing this, if so why Hazard?

3. Or we could conclude he is doing something to sway public opinion for the Democrats, but again why hazard of he is not from here.

4. The only logical conclusion is that he is spewing democrat party talking points as a political operative.

5. As an operative he believes we live off of crazy checks, food stamps and other government handouts that he said Mitch McConnell will stop, in other words we won't survive without them. THIS IS WHAT THE DEMOCRAT PARTY BELIEVES ABOUT EASTERN KENTUCKY. he has accused people from here of fantasizing about goats. THIS IS WHAT THE DEMOCRAT PARTY BELIEVES ABOUT EASTERN KENTUCKY.

I sure hope Alison ain't paying you too much for this nonsense because YOU JUST MADE HER LOOK LIKE A FOOL.

For somebody who thinks Perry county is a republican county I doubt he has ever even been to Kentucky and I would just about guarantee he don't live here. The only thing he knows about Ky insurance is what the socialists that run the democrat party tell him.

Just so you'll know the Capitol as you put it is in Frankfort. Before you educate us ignorant hicks on all things political you may want to work on the English language for yourself. Try focusing less on goats and less on hampsters before you enlighten us with the socialist party talking points.

Alison needs to get some more highly educated workers.

They think we are hillbillies, government dependent, illiterates whom they can fool with a few lies.

The facts are the Democrats have openly all across this country bragged about how they are saving the environment by destroying coal. Like the lowlifes they are just before an election they blame someone else for their little plan. Don't be fooled by these smug, arrogant, deceptive little outsiders who pretend to have your interests at heart while they accuse you of being a stupid goat loving pervert,

Democrats want poor working people to give their money to sorry welfare moochers who don't even keep their kids most of the time. Republicans worry themselves sick about gay couples wanting to get married, mothers wanting to work while their kids are young, and what Obama had for breakfast. They all seem nuts. I quit caring about politics a long time ago.

I would disagree with you about what Republicans worry about. I would also say that Republicans should have done more to stop what the democrats have done to coal. But be that as it may the worse thing that could happen to eastern Kentucky is more Obama gutting of the coal industry.

The Republicans ain't great but they ain't Obama and Grimes is.

Oh hell, Greg Dumbo is backing Grimes. Greg Dumbo backed Obama. Greg Dumbo doesn't give a damn about Floyd County or it's people. He cares about Greg Dumbo. The drunk driving, non child support paying , wife beating, his first wife, Jerry Fannin backing stealing from Prestonsburg, no good Represenative from Floyd Co.. Mitch is far from perfect & has his skeletons like every other politician but if anyone thinks Grimes is going to Congress & go against Obama they are badly fooled......she will have very little power as a freshman senator & virtually none going against her party!
