Tamil fanatics show their sorry state of mind by their stupid and desperate claims. It is like total foreigners or a group of immigrants trying to claim an ancient civilisation. Anuradhapura is the heart of the Sinhala civilisation and its legacy lives on in the Sinhalese.
Tamils were nowhere near Sri Lanka when the ancestors of the Sinhalese came here. Infact there was not even a fully developed Tamil language at that time. Ancestors of Tamils were busy in upper Kaveri valley far away from Sri Lanka, and had better things to do, like building their own civilisation.
It was Emperor Ashoka who was called Devanampriya at first. Devanampiya Tissa's birth name was Tissa. After embracing Buddhism he took the title Devanampiya.
"King Tissa ruled Anuradhapura for forty years from 247-207 B.C. He is considered to be the first consecrated King of Sri Lanka who was also a close friend of the contemporary Indian Emperor Asoka.
When Tissa sent envoys to Asoka with costly presents the Emperor in return conferred various honours on the envoys and on Tissa and sent everything that was required for the consecration of a king.
In addition, the envoys were asked to convey to Tissa that he (Asoka) had declared himself a lay disciple of Sakyamuni Buddha and that he would like Tissa himself to seek refuge in the three supreme gems.
At this consecration the King took the epithet Devanampiya meaning 'beloved of the Gods' that Asoka himself used, thus becoming Devanampiyatissa. "

Maybe Emperor Ashoka too was Tamil and called Devanambiya? It this is too stupid to claim that Devanampiya Tissa was a Tamil called Thevanambiya Theesan since b is not even a Tamil sound. Tamil doesn't have that sound, and everything b becomes p Tamil. The whole argument is just made up, most probably by the Tamil donkey Ezy himself.
Tamil fanatics are just too dumb and desperate.
Once again - inspiring and uplifting stuff

So what about the millennia old Dagobas that house ancient Buddhist relics?
What about the giant Buddha statues in Aucana which are exact replicas of those in Afghanistan. How about the fact that Aucana (Awucana) comes from the Hindustani word Avukan which means Afghan. So the Ancient city itself is named after the Buddhist Afghans that came to Lanka and built replicas for the Buddhist Kings.
What about the ancient cities like Anuradhapura and Pollanaruwa.
Face it – there is plenty of evidence to support the Sinhala Buddhist dominance and significance in Sri Lanka.
There is not one iota of evidence to support the same for the Tamils.
Time to face facts fukwit – you’ve been lied to.
So what about the
Millennium oild What??? Bunch of dirt mounts capped with mortar and buddha's wisdom tooth ain't gonna cut it. So what, your great great grandpa carved a nice buddha statue out of rocks(rather painstaking but useless job)and you want some recognition for that. Taliban blew up one in Kandahar- a neat job get rid of an eyesore. We dont give a damn about a buddha statue busy boy. You've been planting just too many in places that doesn't beleong to you. Just stick it.

I see a lot of people doubting the Historical significance of Sinhala Buddhist archaeological and architectural sites in Lanka.

What I don't see is a single one of you nomads providing similar artefacts of your own.

Coz you have none - you have no history in Lanka and so you simply try and mock the numerous Buddhist historical sites.

Pretty sad really.

So you stick it, but not dynamite stick or we'll have to lock the rest of you fuckers up too
