Yes, I wonder. Anyway, I call Ranil as Ponnaiyan too. I wouldn't call Him as Traitor. He is trying to save some Southern Youths.

When UNP ruled, Srimao B said "Butchering our Youth in the North."

Now SLFP is ruling and UNP is saying like this.

Death toll up at Muhamalai
(Lanka-e-News, November 21, 2008, 9.15 AM) Sources from the battlefield says that both the LTTE and the security forces suffered heavy losses after a section of Muhamalai and Kilali forward defense lines were captured by Army yesterday morning (20).

Reportedly, LTTE retreated as the Army advanced and captured the bunker line of the LTTE. Then they exploded the massive bombs hidden in the bunkers killing a large number of personnel and injuring more. Another number of personnel have disappeared.

Unconfirmed sources say that a large number of Army personnel have been killed and another group was injured.

We tried for three hours to contact Army spokesman Udaya Nanayakkara to obtain a statement but the phone did not respond.

Media Center for National Security says that they have not received information after morning.

Meanwhile, at the budget committee stage debate, United National Party (UNP) Kurunegala district MP Dayasiri Jayasekara asked the government to provide information regarding the accident that had taken place at Muhamalai. Minister Mahindananada Aluthgamage said in response that details would be issued later.

It is unfortunate that a person like Mangala Samaraweera, after striving hard to elect the present regime with the intention of defeating terrorism, is misleading the public today by saying that "three years of Chinthana - the country is lost," If he was not chased off from chinthana regim he would still hailing the president.Let the country to be ruled by a person who has balls.

Mahinda got balls for 3 years. Prabha got balls for more than 30 years.Chandrika didn't have any balls but still she fought with her uncle's balls.

But I know they are going to carry on this war forever, in a small scale or big.

TMVP HAND IN DOCTOR DEATHS

SIX MEMBER GANG
ARMED GROUPS PROWL IN BATTI
By Gayan Kumara Weerasingha

Police investigations have revealed that the killing of Dr. S.W. Palitha Padmakumara, who was serving at the Nawakkadu government hospital in Vavunathivu, Batticaloa, had been carried out on the orders of “Varnan” who is a TMVP area leader.
Varnan is the TMVP leader in charge of the party’s office in Manikkadu, Vavunathivu, sources said.
This high ranking officer revealed that currently, the Pillayan faction has 21 offices in the East, while the Karuna faction had 27 .
A six member gang led by “Varnan” had stormed the hospital premises on the 16th and four of them have been identified as TMVP members who were with “Varnan” at the party office.
“Varnan” and the four TMVP members had shot dead two other TMVP members inside the office during the night of the 10th and escaped with the T 56 and RPG weapons which were inside the office. This office had formerly belonged to the Pillayan faction.

..........
The SL Govt's plan for east will be resisted by East. This arm group will be another Rebels to fight with SL in the future.

It's understably hard to hear about LTTE losses when you are a refugee in a Western country. Your words really express the profound hatred towards the government and the pain that this current war is giving you. Sri Lanka can't tolerate with this LTTE's trickery anymore. Successive governments gave enough opportunities, but they always broke the trust given to them by the governments and returned to war. The only way is to finish off this terror outfit and then talk about autonomy with educated Tamil leaders. Thankfully Mahinda is doing that and very very soon you will see the Lion flag hoisted over Kilinochchi town. Once the rest of the areas are liberated, we should then negotiate with all Tamil parties except the LTTE proxy, the TNA.
Don't get disheartened by this war. I know it's hard when you place so much trust in the LTTE and send them money to fund their activities. The next thing you know is that with proper leadership, Sri Lanka was able to show the LTTE and their supporters that "The TAIL cannot wag the DOG".
Pandering you ego with the Lion flag?, the only flag in the world to have a wild beast and a weapon displayed on a national flag.

Rather try to promote meaningful compromise between communities, this can only happen when the war is halted immediately. Srilanka never offered a meaningful solution either to the LTTE or the predecessors(Tamil Political leaders) It is in this state today because of its adament belief that the Sinhalese are sons of the soil and the remanider of the people are second class citizens.
