That is... knowledge and education.

Give a person sufficient education?

If they live long enough, they WILL become an atheist.

Always.

JUDAISM IS SEPERATE FROM CHRISTIANITY AND HAS NO RELATION. JUSDAISM TO CHRISTIANITY IS LIKE THE SUNNI SECT TO ISLAM, IT'S A BASTARDIZATION OF ITS REAL MEANING AND INTENTIONS
<quoted text>
Jesus was a Jew! Read the bible and the Koran, they both have parts of the Jewish holy books in them.

<quoted text>Taxes pay for all kinds of city, county and state services that we all manage to use. Streets, police, parks, fire departments, that kind of things, and people like Billy Graham do not pay for their share of this public responsibility, in fact while he is using Constantine's bible to make his living, and using non taxed and incredibly valuable property's, we all pay a higher share of taxes because he pays none.
If all of the bible charlatans and their churches paid taxes on real land values and what moneys they made, there would be a much smaller public debt for all of us to shoulder. His church should, as all churches should, pay taxes equal to and above that of an ordinary citizens tax burden. The churches should pay entertainment taxes and all related fees too. The church should be no more exempt nor considered any more beneficial than the massage parlors are.
if you would check his association tax records you would find a different story.
in 2011 they paid in 2.7 million for payroll taxes.
they paid 53 million in employee compensation. everyone of those employees pays property taxes, income taxes and sales taxes including bg himself. he pays all those taxes. they contributed over 600 thousand to 3 colleges. they support a separate world wide emergency response team which of course participated in the recover efforts of all of our major storms.
when they decide to hold a campaign in a city, they move in a year ahead of time, rent buildings [property taxes] employ local people to staff the offices and make all arrangements[income taxes]

sounds to me like they are very good for the economy and generate a fair share of tax revenue.

sounds to me like they are really good for the economy.

btw bg personally went and bailed mlk out of a birmingham jail in 1963.

you are right however that there are "bible charlatans" bg is not one of them.

The Graham program of lies, is one of the BIGGEST POLITICAL CONTRIBUTORS, doofus!
They paid for political protection from the IRS-- and I'm sure they got what they paid for, too.
LOL!
Are you seriously this naive, or did you take special classes?
that's right they are part of the big brother conspiracy. lol
i see that you are using your sofisticated ability to lob insults again.

sufficient education?
this coming from the person who can't do simple elementary math when trying to claim when the books of the Bible were written. and coming from a person who thinks that contributors to bg receive a "tax credit" lol.

However, it's much-much WORSE than this, Jim.
Josephus' alleged words-- the ones you "quoted" here (without a citation, it's hard to tell if you edited it or not.. but you'd be in traditional company, if you did edit it...)
You see, the problem here with these words is this: they are the wrong age (if you look at the original language, Greek). That is, the words in the passages of Jewsus are TOO NEW, to have been written by Joseph.
That is, the language, the words, the spelling are all too new-- and do not fit historically with the rest of the books.
Thus? THESE WORDS ARE FRAUD-- they were added much later (which explains the too-new wordage) by ... Christian Liars for Jewsus (of course--who else?)
This is common knowledge among bible scholars.
Which is why you were ignorant of it, I suppose...
common thought among some Bible scholars. apparently if someone disagrees with your body of thought they do not qualify as a scholar.

The jackass Brays.. SO?? Because even Christian historians admit this. The jackass continues to bray.. How can you be so sure? Because the secular historical record backs me up. The braying contines with a whine now.. Rome leveled Jeruselem in the year 70! Pointless as even the secular historian Josephus who's work was later forged to include Jesus was still documenting amongst other secular historians. This was so lame on your part I must say.
And note that time period is one of the better documented times in ancient history! Jesus Ben Strada the evil wizard Messiah we have accurate historical documentation for from Jews adn Roman sources. The Bible Jesus? Nope. With that fact alone people should be using their brains on if this Jesus who was from a city that didn't even exist until the mid-late 2nd century ( LOL ) even existed.
<quoted text>
so a mythical city that didn't exist until the second century was written about and referenced in the 1st century.

A town in Galilee, the home of Joseph. and the Virgin Mary, and for about 30 years the scene of the Saviour's life (Mt 2:23; Mk 1:9; Lk 2:39,51; 4:16, etc.). He was therefore called Jesus of Nazareth, although His birthplace was Bethlehem; and those who became His disciples were known as Nazarenes. This is the name, with slight modification, used to this day by Moslems for Christians, Nacara--the singular being Nacrany.
The town is not named in the Old Testament, although the presence of a spring and the convenience of the site make it probable that the place was occupied in old times. Quaresimus learned that the ancient name was Medina Abiat, in which we may recognize the Arabic el-Medinat el-baidtah, "the white town." Built of the white stone supplied by the limestone rocks around, the description is quite accurate. There is a reference in Mishna (Menachoth viii.6) to the "white house of the hill" whence wine for the drink offering was brought. An elegy for the 9th of Abib speaks of a "course" of priests settled in Nazareth. This, however, is based upon an ancient midhrash now lost (Neubauer, Geogr. du Talmud, 82, 85, 190; Delitzsch, Ein Tag in Capernaum, 142). But all this leaves us still in a state of uncertainty.

A rocky gorge breaks down southward, issuing on the plain between two craggy hills. That to the West is the traditional Hill of Precipitation (Lk 4:29). This, however, is too far from the city as it must have been in the days of Christ. It is probable that the present town occupies pretty nearly the ancient site; and the scene of that attempt on Jesus' life may have been the cliff, many feet in height, not far from the old synagogue, traces of which are still seen in the western part of the town. There is a good spring under the Greek Orthodox church at the foot of the hill on the North. The water is led in a conduit to the fountain, whither the women and their children go as in old times, to carry home in their jars supplies for domestic use. There is also a tiny spring in the face of the western hill.

the presence of a spring and the other features would indicate a presence of a village. perhaps not exactly where it exists today but nearby as indicated by the location of the cliff. perhaps it is the OT town of JAPHIA which also in located in the vicinity of the cliff.

simply put the written and geographical evidence cast doubt on your claim.

History-- actual, real bona-fide history books are, of course, subject to valid criticism.
But.
For the most part, there is little or no agenda in the writing of them, is there? Other than to report what happened, from the writer's culture's point of view, naturally.
Now.
Let's look at your bible: it's main purpose? To get more bible-worshipers.
As such, a little thing like the facts, or reality, cannot be allowed to interfere with this main objective.
Can it?
No--it cannot, so the truth is out the window, in favor of emotional stories of "Geee! Wizz! Lookit THAT!" and similar.
The sorts of stories that bamboozle the mindless, the credibly naive, the ... well.. the dimwitted.
You know-- morons.
In order to get more followers-- to keep feeding the cash-cow that is Genuine Christianity™.
And it works, too-- just look at how much YOU have been fleeced for, over the years....!
Sad.
But-- your bible isn't a history book-- not even a little bit.
Only by sheer, random-chance is anything in it NOT fiction.
so josephus had an agenda? or his work was tampered with.
the only argument that you can fall back on.

Nope-- I am making valid observations.

ALL you Genuine Christians™ are liars.

By definition: you use faith (lies) to try to justify (vainly) your religion of hate and oppression.

Since the #1 principle of your worldview, is a LIE?(faith)

Nothing you can ever do, will correct this fundamental problem you have with credibility.

Nothing.

Wait... there is ONE thing that would fix EVERYTHING.

You would even get to prove atheism wrong, too.

Have your god put in a public appearance somewhere that is highly visible.

Can you do it?

We'll wait.

Yes. Sufficient education-- a subject you are obviously quite unfamiliar with.

What with all your lies (faith) and other fundamental errors in judgement.

No, HE didn't you idiot.

The Genuine Christians™ >>certainly<< had one, and THEY are the asses who wrecked Josephus' works.

Look, stupid-- ALL the parts that refer to "Jewsus" use the WRONG LANGUAGE-- it is TOO NEW, to have been written by Josephus.

But, much-much later, your Genuine Christians™, who were quite happy to LIE, were too stupid to know the subtle differences, and added in their shyt-story.

Foolish True Believers™-- they did not recon with the power of modern language analysis.

And their LIES were found out.

Are you really this stupid?

Hmmmmm....

You remind me of the old grandpa in the family that everybody hopes he keeps his big mouth shut because you know he is gonna say something stupid and senile.

Really ? 69 k post ? Here is a thought. Get up and wash your shit stained pants or at least change em.

I just saw your post for the first time on this thread and I can only believe that you are a bitter, hateful and unthoughful old man with really no life except this site and God forbid it should ever crash.
