Thank you for your comment "The Truth". I have to add that I definitely agree with your previous posts on the Police Officer persona and the profiles that fit. I want to add that some of those profiles you have shared are right on target! You do an outstanding job on profiling commentators. You should be an FBI profiler. I thought some of those were on target and funny as hell too! I have seen it. I have seen the young COP with 3-5 years on who works the "George Unit" with the TAPOUT sticker on his Saleen Mustang, and right below it a "G" sticker that says "Gracie Jiu-Jitsu", I too have seen the young COP with the many different T-Shirts (UFC, B2V, etc), I have seen the bomber jackets (I can't stand them) with crap like "Shooting Newton", the Rampart castle, the list goes on.....I have seen the Sergeant and Lt. talking about their horrible marriages and giving each other 100 reasons why they cant stand their b**** wife along with the young COP who brags about his stash pad he has so he can keep his mistress. The list goes on. So all in all, your profiles are right on target and your analysis is pretty acurate.
Since my early days on the force, I have dealt with some outstanding P1's, P2's, P3's, Sergeants, Lt's, etc....One of them was Jackie Montalvo. When I say "good" I mean all around as a human first and second as COP. On the flip side, I have also worked with some really bad COPS who should never have passed backgrounds and should have never picked Law Enforcement as a career and that includes the young COP who soares through the station and oozes testosterone and treats every person he comes in contact the same with no regard for common human respect. Those COPS are everywhere no matter what Dept you're in.
My work here is done. Thank You all very much for coming and don't forget to tip your waitresses. I will be selling CD's and T-Shirts in the lobby and I will be on HBO in June. Have a safe ride home and remember to buckle your seat belts. "Big Game Hunter" The floor is yours.

You obviously don't care about anyone but yourself. This will be my last posting, except to say that my heart goes out to the family of this young officer and her fiancee.
Thank you Policemom we appreciate your concerns. Be Safe, always....

appeciate the human touch you gave Jackie .. please let us know more about Jacie, how long on, assignments, what was her style in the field other than being a great cop, previous background, otherinterests, children
my GF first came across this thread since she is from Mtb and attended the same HS, although she was older and did not know Jackie .. these type of SGV neighborhoods have something about them that produce great cops .. my GF is on another Dept
just something about Jackies photo that emanates somethong so special about her .. glad she was enjoying an upscale lifestyle and please do not take this comment in a negative manner
RIP Officer Jackie Montalvo
The people who were touched by Jackie, their lives, would know Jackie was one of the few who would go the extra mile for a person in need. She did her job well, she studied hard to get where she was at in her life, she did not get a free ride in life, she lost her mother at age 11/12 and her father 2 months before she graduated, now I have lost Jackie the root to my tree... I can only hope some people can appreciate what others do for them and the extent others put on the line every day without regards to their own lives. Jackie was born to be all she could be the Los Police Dpt. and the citizens she protected everyday when she left home. Now its time for me to leave. May you all be safe everyday no matters who you are, because you still have someone in your life who cares about you....

This thread is old but... Jaqueline Montalvo had agreed to testify against bad police, three days before her death. Her testimony could have put a few bad cops out of business. Her testimony would have exposed dirty cops like John Gregozek and Jeffrey Dunn and the whole shady "Threat Management Unit" and their unsavory alliances with Hollywood law firms such as Lavely and Singer.
Case 8CA10541 is the case number. She was more than likely murdered for going against the brass and wanting to tell the truth. If so, and much evidence says it is so-- she was a great hero. A dirty coroner fixed the reports here. May god bless her soul.

Jackie was murdered for her whistleblowing. She was set to testify in a case. Three days before her death she came into court to sign up as a witness for the Defense. Her testimony would have led to arrests of officers with the LAPD's Threat Management Unit, and it would lead to major liability on the part of the city. Jackie is a hero. A martyr. Jerry Rodelo needs to fight to clear her name. Her car was tampered with.
