As a "live and let live" Catholic who grew up in Bayside, NY with Jewish progressives . It is impossible to get used to the backwards , bigot southern Christian conservatives .
I went from living with advanced humans to living with cavemen .
I disagree. Compered to cavemen most of the anti-gays have the intellectual capacity of a bowl of guacamole!

Here's a (long) talk that gives a clear explanation of the defining characteristics of Phariseeism, and that discusses one of the main contradictions found in the ancient texts.

Download it and give it real attention. You won't be disappointed.
This is the guy I was searching for. Thanks. Do you remember the other video of him you've sent me where he explains the difference between the actual verses and the dogma that the priesthoods (both Hebrew and Christian) developed over time from those verses?

I lost the link when my other computer bit the dust.

I really liked that one and want to use it again.

That wasn't Nehemia. You must have gotten that link from someone else.

No you sent me a link that had the same man but he was discussing tradition in Judaism and how it has affected 'biblical teachings'. I hope you know which one I mean now.

I had to watch it several times before I was able to write back with my thoughts.

This is the one that I know:

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

and this is his YouTube channel:

Was it a YouTube vid, or just an audio?

I've got a link library of several thousand.

Well I know it';s the same man. And it's driving me nuts because in the Vid you sent he speaks of the question a jewish student asks his teacher. If I could remember the correct term for teacher (I know what a moyl is but what's the word for the guy who teaches a young boy for his barmitzvah?)

In any case they are all very interesting and educational for people of almost any faith.

This IS the one you sent! The Hebrew Yeshua vs. the Greek Jesus. My bad.

I'm merely Moreh Derekh, as is any source.

Remember though, someone has to create the path by walking it first.
