The marriage licenses will be a souvenir of a wacky time these couples were in on. This has never been the most effective means of challenging a ban on same sex marriages, it's failed every time it has been trotted out before and unlikely to succeed here.

I remember when someone once said we'll never have a black president........
I'd say in 5-10 years gay marriage will be accepted and legal in all 50 states |
