A lot of us also see that end. Those that care can do little as long as the ones bringing about the end remain in power with so much support from one-issue voters who only care about what they want for themselves.

Yes, many conservative voters are "one issue" voters, and issues like same sex marriage and abortion are the ONLY issues they see.

As you can see by the changes in discriminatory laws throughout the country, we ARE starting to get out act together. More couples can marry, and more kids have married parents - all good things.

One issue voters.????.... Um, the single, largest block of one-issue voters are the anti-choice.

You should post this in the U.S. Infrastructure and Government Finances forums, not here where it has no meaning.

Most of my generation doesn't even bother with marriage.
I know more unwed mothers or living together couples than I do married couples.

Wanna know why, most of you younger men need to grow up.
I can meet a nice guy and he turns out being a drinker or has a drug problem, lost his drivers license.

You stupid, talibangelical trash couldn't correctly discern cause from effect if given 6000 years to do so, in other words, "the age of the earth."

The problems human society face precede marriage equality. Any cre tin can see this.

And lots of genuinely devout and then fundierai$ingly devout individuals are caught up in these global problems, too, whose very real causes our mullahs and tee baggers the world over expend incredible energy denying.

Naturally this does not constitute any sort of reason not to permit marriage equality.

It is not as though marriage is compulsory,(except for mormons, natch.)

Excuse me. Who said anything about the "end of times"? We were discussing the fall from grace of the United States of America. The world most likely will continue to exist once that happens, just as it did after the Roman Empire collapsed.

yes sorry, the end of times is different, yet people have been claiming the fall of society for just as long and it has not happened...outside of religions taking over and plunging whole regions into dark ages...

Shopping. As for advancing science, there is work that I do that I do not care to discuss in this forum. Suffice to say, science will benefit from what I do.
