It's so sad that a once mainstream religion has reduced its self to that of a cult. Haven't these idiots even read the bible that supposely preach about? homosexuality is an abomination in gods eyes.

don't they know that people who believe in a god don't respect anything that isn't traditional? and why would they want to be included and judged by an institution such as "the church " anyway?

This is absolutely ridiculous. This just proves that some churches make changes to the bible to fit their specific chuirch. Next time, they'll be blessing rapists.

Do you mean the part where it says we need to love, forgive, tolerate, accept?? or the part where we are to spout forth hatred, judge, condemn? I am confused- the bible contradicts itself all over the place- I guess that gives people a choice of what part to believe in.

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff--- such hatred. Get out of the Old Testament and read the NT where Jesus preached of love and acceptance and that we are not to judge and condemn. I have a question- have you ever lied to anyone for any reason at all??? That is an abomination in God's eye. See you cannot pick and chose your abominations.

You've pointed out why so many sects of the same religion exist. Funny how every sect has their own idea about what the bible says. I guess they just haven't listened to all those people that say how cut and dry the bible is. By the way....the bible says to forgive....even rapists. Funny how so many people seem to pass over something in the bible that requires something from them. It's easier to use the bible against others....and I guess more important to some then feeding the homeless.

The bible and other religious documents are simply stories from a period in time.

It is a new time now, get a clue!!!

Amazing. Will they bless non-gay "partnerships" as well...meaning men and women who shack up without marriage? Just asking.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Capricorn

Take things slowly and all will be well. However, you must resist a tendency to be perfectionist over things that don't really matter, otherwise you'll never finish the chores. If you're busy with Christmas preparations, you'll have to control a nagging feeling that you've got to compete with the way other people have done things in the past.
