As previously documented, many straight people who have devoted their entire lives to study of religion and the bible, have come to the conclusion the few verses commonly used to justify harming gay people and ignoring the Golden Rule have been misinterpreted and mistranslated.
As I told you I work in this field. Everyday I work alongside people who actually do read the original languages of the Bible. They laugh at the idea you are proposing.
You just believe it because you want to. There is no conspiracy among Christian scholars to keep the gay man down. The Bible really says what it says on this topic.
If you believe that it doesn't matter what the Bible says...then you have a case. That point it debatable. But saying the Bible doesn't actually say what it clearly and repeatedly does is crazy. It makes you look dishonest and irrational. Find another argument.
