DEFINITELY a stupid "article".

It's a false argument. The idiot "writer" is inferring that being unable to discriminate based on religion is discrimination against religion.

There are two facts the christards can't or won't admit to:

(1) The only people who have to obey a cult's rules are members of the cult. Religious cults have no authority over the rest of society.

(2) ALL people have the same rights and protections. NO group can be made into second class citizens for any reason.

Don't forget ...

"Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those who walk on all fours, who because of his 'divine",'spiritual' and 'intellectual' development has become the most vicious animal of all."

(surprises me that I still remember that. lol)

I believe as much in Satan as I do in the God that is represented by the folks claiming religious discrimination. That is to say, I don't.

That was A.S. LaVey's "Satan", mostly an anti-establishment punk. He threw fun parties, though.

I think I may have attended some of those parties, but I can't be sure,'cause it was so many years ago. Now I mostly go to cocktail parties, or dinner parties.

So did I read that right? We should pass this law because it will be ineffective in unenforced, anyway. Right. They say the opposite about the supposedly-unnecessary laws to protect minorities in public accommodations.

Quote: The legislation, House Bill 279, would give stronger standing to people in court who claim the law puts a burden on them because of their religious beliefs.

How is this any different than some muslim's wanting sharia law?

Yes, it will be funny when the Christians are foist by their own petards. That's what happened in schools when they fought for the right to have bible study groups. Then other religions and secular organizations started using school facilities. Now, Lake County Florida is considering banning all extra-cirricular groups rather than allow GSA's.

Still, I think others have more to lose than Christians.

Yup, they would quickly change their tune the 1st time a defense for an honor killing uses their religion or religious culture as their defense, thanks to this bill. I am not saying it would work, but they should be careful what the ask for.

Secular law, without discrimination or favoritism, is still the best way to go.

Lake County...LOL.
Also Bradford, Dixie are run by ignorant zealots too. Their school board meetings are a hoot, I've seen the transcripts.
