The will of the people has spoken in calif. by a majority vote, just as they did when Obama was re-elected. we have to live with that vote why can't he accept the calif. vote !!!

According to court records; the California vote was purchased by the mormon delegation from the State of Utah; cheating as usual

You love your constitution I assume?

Well...your constitution is set up in such a way that the majority cannot impose their will on a minority simply because they don`t like something.

The final arbiter of what the law is in the United States is the US Supreme Court, not the majority of anyone, from anywhere.

If you don`t want to marry someone of the same gender...then don`t.

If someone feels like their `normal` marriage is cheapened by same sex marriage then I would put it to them that their marriage wasn`t actually that strong in the first place.

You can't put people's civil rights up to a popular vote. It's not the same as the people voting to put up redlight cameras. Being gay is not criminal behavior.

Shows just how stupid you are. If they make it a law, you have to abide by it.
Of course we have to abide by the laws while they are laws but some laws are later found to be unconstitutional which the supreme courts and judges make a decision on. The so called sodomy laws were the law of the land until they were found unconstitutional in 2003.

The religious loonies in Utah voted on the sex orientation of the people of California; and paid the price in court
.
That was an act of insanity; not an exercise in democracy
