Unmasking The "Gay" Agenda

Feb 13, 2008 | Posted by: Ziggy on High | Full story: 710knus.townhall.com

Sorry, I just HAD to post this. It is just too damn funny. These people are bloody paranoid! - Ziggy

Americans who self-identify as “gay” or lesbian comprise roughly one to three percent of the population. Yet the homosexual movement — led by extremist homosexual pressure groups like the so-called Human Rights Campaign (HRC) — represent, per capita, one of America’s most powerful and well-funded political lobbies. Consider that HRC and the HRC foundation alone have an annual budget in excess of 50 million.

Through a carefully crafted, decades-old propaganda campaign, homosexual activists have successfully cast homosexuals — many of whom enjoy positions of influence and affluence — as a disadvantaged minority. They have repackaged and sold to the public behaviors which thousands of years of history, every major world religion and uncompromising human biology have long identified as immoral and sexually deviant.

The Goal

As with every major political movement, the homosexual lobby is pushing a specific agenda. It is often called the “gay agenda.” At its core is a concerted effort to remove from society all traditional notions of sexual morality and replace them with the post-modern concept of sexual relativism. That is to say, when it comes to sex, there is never right or wrong. All sexual appetites are “equal.” If it feels good, do it.

Ultimately, the homosexual lobby’s primary objective is to radically redefine our foundational institutions of legitimate marriage and the nuclear family by unraveling God’s natural design for human sexuality. In so doing, they hope to elevate their own spiritual and biological counterfeit and establish a sexually androgynous society wherein natural distinctions between male and female are dissolved.

This creates cultural and moral anarchy.

Where's the emergency meeting place for our "exposed" gay agenda? My god, we've been outed. Rally the troops, call on our Gay Mafia friends to get us back under the radar!! Someone must have left their copy of our agenda laying open for the world to see. Maybe we have a "mole" in our ranks!! I know I have my copy of the agenda secretly locked away!!! Dang, our goal of total anarchy has been compromised!!

And lets talk the Evangelical Agenda for a minute. To take over the U.S. and force their form of religion on people. They have been targeting areas and paying to move members there to effect voting and politics. See the Carolinas. And what have the Evagelicals and their Pres accomplished? 3,000 plus dead American Soldiers in a war based on Evangelical lies, 28,000 plus wounded American soldiers over the same war, children with out health care, soldiers denied home visits, horrid VA health facilities, corporate greed and all manners of other social ills. Have we not had enough? Don't you think God is tired of taking the blame for these religious extremists, yeah just like the ones in the Taliban. Just a different drum. I say take back our country and free God from being an Evangelical hostage.

Eric and Ziggy,

It's amazing that people absolutely believe that great organizations like the HRC just sit around plotting the demise of the "nuclear family." I think the nuclear family has done a pretty good job of destroying itself in the past few decades.

Have either of you ever seen the old right-wing propaganda file "The Gay Agenda?" Scary stuff!

Jade,

I think that when Ann Heche jumped ship she gave her agenda to James Dobson and now we have all been outed. Our plans will be foiled. Nevermind - the divorce rate is still steadily on the rise.

To Victory!

The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

The article's claim of our course of action:• On “same-sex marriage”: "Demand the institution and then wreck it. James Dobson was right about our evil intentions. We just plan to be quicker than he thought."

I'm sure the quote above was *totally* included in our agenda.{sarcasm} To think that anyone would actually believe we would refer to our own intentions as evil just shows what a bunch of bunk it is. We demand the institution so we may be included in it. Why would we want to wreck something we want so badly to be a part of? Get over yourself, Chicken Little.

I know that on these boards and in the (fox)news these fundies are given a lot of room to spew their hate and fears, but a look at the big picture puts them and their numbers back into perspective. Consider this:

65 to 75% of ALL under twenties have consistently polled Democrat and the funny thing is, on issues, these young people are moderate, but they are so turned off by close minded fear mongering of the right, that they have wholesale identified themselves as Democrats or liberals.

This election is largely seen as a stinging reproach for the Republican party, The presidency will go to a democrat and the house and senate will make large gains towards democrat.

Embarrassed or disillusioned Moderate Republicans are rejecting the right wing in massive numbers, many will even vote democrat this year.

The Limbaugh, Hannity, coulter hate machines are running out of steam. They couldn't even force their followers to rally behind Rommney or Huckabee.

I think it's been a long time coming but moderates and progressives have been patient and long suffering. Hopefully Republicans will find their way back to political relevance and do their part in pushing our country forward.

But we should try to remember that Fred Phelps doesn't speak for "conservatives" his appeal is limited to a VERY small fringe. These past 8 years he and others like him have been given a disproportionately large amount of media coverage and scared many of us into believing "his numbers are legion" (biblical slam) They are not.

From the article:

"At its core is a concerted effort to remove from society all traditional notions of sexual morality and replace them with the post-modern concept of sexual relativism. That is to say, when it comes to sex, there is never right or wrong. All sexual appetites are “equal.” If it feels good, do it."

There's the core issue - the painting of all persons of same-sex orientation with the broad brush of hedonism.

There are people who think "anything goes" to be found within just about any demographic you care to name.

But I would assert that most sso'd individuals do subscribe to a code of ethical conduct - one which also applies to sexual matters.

We don't consider all sexual appetites equal. We do think people should conduct their sexual affairs in an ethical and responsible manner.

What's clear from this paranoid rant is that:

1) Bigots are incapable of seeing us as individuals with diverse moral standards

2) Bigots pre-judge anything homosexual as immoral.

3) Bigots are intolerant of differing belief systems. Anyone who doesn't believe as they believe is automatically labeled immoral, a threat, a counterfeit, etc.

4) Bigots have their own immoral, anti-gay agenda.

5) The nature of bigotry never changes, just its targets and tactics.

Ziggy,

The "gay agenda" is to be who we are and if you do not want us to be that, then you are asking/demanding us to be who we are not-thus causing us to become other than who God made us.

I hope you get your thinking cap on and think about what you said-it is childish, paranoid and anti-God, not to mean hateful and divisive.

May you never experience the hate and discrimination we have. Peace

The gay agenda (compiled from the lunatic ravings of the religious right)

1) Assume complete control of the U.S., state, and local governments
2) Destroy all healthy Christian marriages by abolishing the family unit
3) Recruit all children grades Kindergarten through 12 into an amoral, filthy lifestyle;
4) Secure complete control of the media,
5) Give AIDS to as many people as possible
6) Demand that a pornographic "art" exhibit be shown at your local art museum
7) Turn people away from Jesus, causing them to burn forever in Hell.
8) Bring about the general decline of Western Civilization
9) Tear the moral fabric of America
10) Censor and suppress all dissenting opinions
11) Undemocratically force their immoral lifestyle into the institute of marriage (thanks Wil)
12) Portray gays as victims, not as aggressive challengers (Thanks FRC)
13) Universal acceptance of the gay lifestyle (thanks to FOF)
14) Discrediting of scriptures that condemn homosexuality (thanks to FOF)
15) Muzzling of the clergy and Christian media (thanks to FOF)
16) Getting funds from corporate America (?? Thanks ADF, I think)
17) Create “Hate Thought” laws to criminalize evangelical teachings

p.s. Must be accomplished prior to 11:00 am or I will miss a fabulous brunch at Coco’s :)

Unlike the extreme religious right zealots (dripping with sarcasm), they don't have a powerful well-funded political lobby...are you kidding me? the extreme right has had years of screwing up our nation, hating on people who scare them, starting wars in the name of god, depriving others of the right to their own thoughts and religions, ruining our country and our reputation in the world. yeah all of you keen on jesus are doing a bang up job. now where can i get one of those gay agenda handbooks so i can rack up some homos.

It is not paranoia that bothers this hetrosexual it is the fact that homosexuals make up 7% of the U.S. population but account for 70% of HIV infections. This is total irresponsibility by the homosexual community. To brush this off under the guise of bigotry is criminal. This additude and behavior can and will cause a natonal epidemic unless the homosexual community ramp up THEIR moral standards. You can call me anything you like, but the truth is your community is self destructing, and is better to be a bigot than dead.
