Yes, Rep. Hurt has no trouble fitting in with his kind of people. Now, you may well wonder if he has done anything legislatively productive to help the 5th, or anything at all that demonstrates some independence of mind. Well, don't hold your breath. He hasn't. Sure, I suppose we could count his endless stream of political platitudes as some sort of accomplishment, or his uncanny ability to vote exactly as Mr. Cantor votes. But shouldn't taxpayers be getting more for their money than a pleasant gasbag and rubber stamp representative?

Another good post, we're on a roll. Always be leary of politicians who spend time together, they gots something up their sleeve.

Good ole in and out Robert. Sneaks into town, meets with a select few like minded GOP'ers, then runs like heck before the people who really matter pick up his scent.

Our "Wall flower Representative". Blends right in with all of the other members who march in lock-step with the Brothers Coke. Well at least that Mechelle Backman likes him.
