No More Status Quo

However, today we can see just how far out of balance we actually were under the previous leadership. Some of the imbalances of the past include:
• Capping high school class sizes in the 20s, while other grades who most need teacher attention, had larger class sizes (often up to 30).
• Teaching the majority to meet the proficient standard (proficient is a OAA test score in 8th grade >40), while our district receives a “D” in gifted education and a “C” for our more challenged, lowest 20%.
• Ignoring the changing curriculum and testing standards for students.
• Charging higher pay-to-play and school fees than were necessary.
• Failing to plan for technology in our classrooms and then spending resources on wireless technology that was inadequate and required replacement.
• Ignoring recommendations to improve the rigor of our high school academic programs by failing to promote college credit options for our students.
• Reacting to circumstances and spending more than budgeted instead of planning to invest and keeping up our buildings, grounds and bus fleet.
• Assuming the only solution was higher taxes and hoping for a new levy to pass.
These are symptoms of the status quo controlling a school district that lost its balance.

Fortunately for Springboro, our school board is no longer being run by people who make things up. Whew!
This is typical Symbolism of the empty shell of victory over
Kohls, Petroni, and Rigano that the blah blah blah union activists for Ron Malone are now claiming, with no Substance whatsoever, since neither Kohls, Petroni, nor Rigano were running for school board election!

I have heard it said many times that F-E-A-R of Change is Mr. Malone's only Strong agenda; and since March 2012, our weak-minded board member-elect, Ron Malone, has lead a SELF-INTEREST F-E-A-R campaign AGAINST our school district's much needed Children's First Budgeting Vision of R-E-F-O-R-M!

It is Mr. Malone's Strong Resistance and Refusal to CHANGE his status quo leadership ways of the Year 2000, that formed his "put it back the way it was" protests of "re-instate Ron Malone in March 2012", against our current board members good leadership; spreading F-E-A-R (False Evidence Appearing Real)
demonizing, discrediting, distorting, and telling lies about
our reform minded BOE representatives, Dr. Kohls, Mr. Rigano,
and Mr. Petroni.

As the man who led our school district as high school principal for 13 years, Ron Malone held a special place of turst, authority, and influence in our community. The truth of how he chose to use those gifts is revealed in the Public Records Reports of his professional Peer Reviewers, his superiors, and his own public pronouncements, proves to community taxpayers that Mr. Malone ran this high school like a union shop, making up classes with scant
demand to ensure employment for those whose skills were not in demand. This tactic robbed resources from areas of grater need in the district. Those who suffered the most were the gifted and those in need of early intervention.

Stay Alert Voters and Make YOUR Presence Known in the board
room evaluating each Performance of Mr. Malone, as only ONE
Voice, among FIVE individual Voices, in the Board Room.
Early Intervention of concerned taxpayers in the board room
is the best prescription for the ailing "union first" leadership woes of the good old status quo, Dr. Malone (who has been a
SHS princiPAL for 13 years and NOW has a proven record of
poor job performance, failing to put ALL our students highest academic achievement FIRST, on his list of needed "things to do."

It takes a lot more ABILITY for Mr. Malone to serve our school community and community of taxpaying constituents as an elected official of the Board of Education than Mr. Malone "UTILIZED"
in running our SHS like a union shop. And Mr. Malone will be
under the scrutiny and accountable to ALL community taxpayers
in the board room.

I'm just glad that the voters of Springboro gave Malone, Stuckey, and Anderson an overwhelming mandate to change the awful status quo that has been coming from the current Board.
The high school was very well run in the past. The number of scholarships going through that school is amazing and the kids are taught well. The voters recognized that and want it to continue.
Unfortunately, the current Board sacked Malone. Now WE THE PEOPLE have spoken, knowing Malone's great track record, and have given him, Stuckey, and Anderson an overwhelming mandate.
At the ballot box, we said that we wanted to get rid of the current Board's terrible policies. We especially want to get rid of their careless budgeting which never fit the fiscal reality, only their desired outcome.
You consider running deficits, instituting pay to play, running classes out of trailers, cutting busing, etc. well run?

No the abuse of us and our kids started with the legalization of plunder in about 1983. Legalization of public unions is the year when we all got robbed of our rights and the communists took the reigns. Since this time, our education system has been in decline, teachers were convinced they were overworked and underpaid and they were our savior. This is when this teachers union became militants with the nonstop campaign to take our children and make them into solider against Christianity, capitalism, the constitution and liberty. I picture the people I saw again last night at the school board meeting. The same cast of characters full offensive mode linebacker, militant, left wing radical housewives of Springboro. I saw them meeting after the meeting to create the media show yet again embarrassing us all by their political agenda. Who are these people? Where did they come from and what is their motivation? I hate the thought of any of them teaching or even contacting my kids in this public school.
I am more afraid than I am anything else. BTW who drives the big black SUV Cadillac? I half expected her to hit someone, what an angry person. Our seniors that attend these meetings should be escorted out.

I did not find the answer to "What resources did Dr. Malone rob" on that website. If you're referring to class size, I would agree that lower grade levels need smaller classes. He did not, however, steal an elementary teacher and bring her up to the high school. He had a certain number of teachers to utilize, and he did this in such a way as to provide my kids with the best possible high school education. Kudos to him! Now again, if the elementary schools needed lower numbers, then it would be up to the school board to make that happen. The SCHOOL BOARD is what has made elementary numbers high, not Ron Malone. Based on what you're saying, it sounds like we need more elementary teachers to ease the numbers which has nothing to do with Malone. So if we, according to you, need more elementary teachers, then why did the board reduce the renewal amount, making this impossible? Sounds like another SCHOOL BOARD FAIL!

As Thanksgiving approaches, I would like to thank the school board that, at this moment is still in power, for giving us taxpayers in the Springboro school district NO NEW TAXES for the last four years. That will come to an end with the union backed school board elected taking office in January. Happy Thanksgiving to Kelly Kohls, David Petroni, and Jim Rigano. Thank you from the tax payers of this community.

Thank you, Wendy Kull, for stepping in after coward Scott Anderson quit the board, throwing the children of this community under the bus.

Thank you, Don Miller, for your effort and hard work. Taking on responsibilities of a school board member while being functionally illiterate has to be one hellava tough act.

It is clearly seen that Glass Houses' dark narrow tunnel vision
refuses to BELIEVE the good things happening in our school district that those of us with reform minded broader vision see
and appreciate so dearly...

Glass Houses are welcome to follow the educational enlightenment of Educate Springboro, throughout our schools and community, and
perhaps, just like driving an SUV in the darkness of night, you can only see as far as the headlights shine, but if you keep moving toward the light, then you see a bit clearly, as you move ahead in the darkness.. toward OUR BELIEF in a bettter future for our schools!

Come, Grow with us....

We believe over taxation of the taxpayers is wrong!

We believe in supporting the amount of necessary taxation required to do the job correctly.

We believe that excess tax money in any government body tends to inspire creative ways to spend that money.

We believe transparency, from budgeting to policy formulation to meetings, leads to good governance in all levels of government.

Thank you, Don Miller, for having a soul unlike KRP. We know you tried, but your hands were tied!

Congratulations to your kids who were provided with the best possible high school education! It is more blessed to give than to receive, and as a Taxpayer in this community, it gives me great joy and Boro civic pride to know that I have contributed to the good of our Young People's Future!

A year ago, our district faced a sort of "perfect storm" with needs for everything from buses and books to technology and staffing coming to the surface at the same time. Through good management and some good fortune, our once rudderless ship emerged from that storm with CLEAR leadership and direction. Clearly,
there are still challenges, but we are moving in the direction
of putting Children First....in the direction of Unity:

Even after plans to invest millions in technology, curriculum, buildings and buses, and even after providing every employee with raises, we are financilly prepared to give something back to the Taxpayer --to give back to our community by reducing their tax burden.

Special Thanks and Appreciation are due our current board members
Kelly Kohls, Jim Rigano, David Petroni, Don Miller and Wendy Kull for Renewal Levy that Saves Taxpayers $6.5 million! Thank You!

Special Thanks and Appreciation are due our new school superintendent and our school district staff of employees
for choosing to serve our school children and our community,
making Springboro a better place to live, work, learn, and play sports...living within our community means while keeping our schools and community BOTH safe AND affordable.

Welcome aboard new board members-elect: Mr. Anderson, Mr. Malone,
Mr. Stucky! As of January 2014, we urge each one of you to get on

We've got a good thing going here, in the direction of common sense, and Now each one of YOU have opportunity to contribute your sense of civic pride, business experience, and professional leadership.... in the direction of

Educate Springboro cares less about children than they do their pocketbooks and own agendas. Their followers are dwindling so to be honest they aren't even worth discussing. New ideas isn't the same as GOOD ideas.
