The solution to Governor Christie's problem is to become a Democrat

He should do the right thing which is to ban the descredited so-called "conversion therapy". This should be a no-brainer.

It should be, but you don't have to at least pretend to kowtow to the religious right in the Republican party. They are heavily invested in these so-called therapy programs and to denounce conversion is tantamount to denouncing God. He's still trying to jockey his pudgy butt into the conversation for 2016 and the last thing he needs is to be labelled a RINO or worse.

That horrible quackery has kept Michele Bachmann's huge fat mincing husband in Ralph Lauren for decades.

Of course they don't want to end that money train, pretending to change the unchangeable. It is like opening a clinic to change eye color or height. It ain't gonna happen EVER, despite the poor client pouring untold thousands of dollars into it.

We know it doesn't work, but as long as they say that God says it does... Therein lies the problem.

I don't think homosexuals should be allowed to have unprotected sex with children.

It Democrats want to neuter Cristie's chances at the Republican nomination (I'm not entirely convinced they should), they could knock him out by overriding his vetoes of same-sex marriage and prohibition of reparative therapy.

Look how the conservatives hated Romney for same-sex marriage in Massachusetts, despite his single-minded efforts to stop it. Cristie could afford to lose one veto fight, but they will never forgive him for losing two.

Or the Democrats could really kick him to the curb by accepting his offer to put marriage equality on the ballot in 2014. When the ballot measure succeeds, Cristie will own it like Obama owns healthcare.
