Anglicans must not drift apart ...
The outgoing leader of the world's 80 million Anglicans has said their national churches must live with some religious diversity but not become like "distant relatives who sometimes send Christmas cards to each other".Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams told the primates of the worldwide Anglican Communion that their loose association of 38 member churches "has endured much suffering and confusion and still lives with this in many ways" ...

"The Church of England, mother church for the Communion, last month chose Bishop Justin Welby, a former oilman with long experience as a conflict negotiator in Africa, as the next Archbishop of Canterbury.
"While he comes from the Church's evangelical wing, which should please traditionalists, he also backed the failed bid to allow women bishops in England and has said he might reconsider his opposition to same-sex marriage.
"The traditionalist campaign against western liberals went into high gear in the past decade after the Episcopal Church - the U.S. branch of the Anglican Communion - ordained its first openly gay bishop in 2003 ..."
The traditionalist "campaign" against western liberals went into high gear after the Episcopal Church's campaign to remove all members who didn't agree with its gay agenda?

Anglicans are not drifting apart. They are being pushed apart by forced apostasy. The "don't drift apart" is nothing but the PR to try to tell those who believe the Bible and historic Anglican theology, "Accept us and our apostasy, knuckle under, you will come around to liberalism after a while, in fact you will even come to like it." You may think conservatives ar stupid. Think again.

Nobody said "conservatives" are stupid - or if they have, they aren't right. That is a misnomer, anyway.
If there are "conservatives," they are actually the ones who are establishing their faith in the Teachings of Christ Jesus. These Teachings are, in large part, focused upon very different personal practices and attitudinal beliefs than that which is today regarded as "orthodoxy."
Hundreds of years, centuries, of bigotry and hypocrisy have crept into and invaded the Christian Experience to the point that most of what is truly Mystical and Spiritual has been lost to the average Christian. It is simply never taught to them.
Instead, people like the "Listen to the Word" writer of the above post are blind. They mean well. But, their understanding causes them to advocate misguidance.
