Pastors Urged to Defy IRS to Defeat Evil, Hitlerian Obama

There are 148 comments on the www.religiondispatches.org story from Oct 2, 2012, titled Pastors Urged to Defy IRS to Defeat Evil, Hitlerian Obama. In it, www.religiondispatches.org reports that:

Conservative evangelical leaders hope that 1,500 pastors will take part in “Pulpit Freedom Sunday” on October 7 and tell their congregants that they must vote against President Obama and other “unbiblical” candidates. Today, publisher Steven Strang, anti-gay activist Rev. Jim Garlow, and too-radical-for-John-McCain pastor John Hagee participated in a conference call designed to either shame or inspire more pastors to take part.

You really think you can win an election by shaking an Etch A Sketch during a debate and lying to the public? The polls over the debate don't mean a damned thing if voters don't change the way they feel about a candidate.
Perhaps you shouldn't tie your underwear in knots yet.

All is fair in politics and Romney simply changed his mind on a 1 or 2 issues.

You know what I can tell?

That Romney is soaring in the polls and the majority of the undecideds only watch the first debate.

Romney has caught up to Obama and starting to pass him but keep in mind that the middle class love Romney and we make you or break you.

Obama has lost the middle class with his arrogance and stupidity.

Actually, all your other posts, including this one and probably future ones, have been right OFF.
Way off.

You don't have a single bit of truth to present, besides things that known hate groups say. A hate group is a group that knowingly states false claims and information about a group of individuals.

I had a revelation today.
All these so-called Christians and Catholics and other people are saying that gay marriage will start a "slippery slope" to things such as polygamy.

Yet they plan on voting for Romney...a Mormon...

...does everyone else see how hilarious this is?

And yesterday he takes back his 47% comments to wealthy donors. Sounds like a flip flopper similar to that guy running for Senator who said he supports Gay rights more than Ted Kennedy. Hnnnn, how was that guy? Oh, I know, Mittens again.

"I was for it before I was against it" is the Romney moniker.

The Christian conservative I know from work are not thrilled with Romney for being a Mormon but they hate Obama that much more for being Black.

If "Satan" himself ran against Obama and he was white, they would vote for him.

When I saw "White", I am not speaking of Anglo but "white skin" as plenty of Hispanics here (mostly Cuban) are as racist as hell.

Either way the Church and Christians in the south have been defying the federal government for decades and have done so with impunity.

If you go to Tallahasse you see huge 10 Commandments right in front of the court house and the bible thumping judges there all want it to stay.

Signs such as "Jesus is the true saviour" are all over Pensacola and other places on government pieces of the highway.

Christians piss on laws while screaming about everyone else .

Romney flagrantly lied during the debate and will say anything to anyone because he has no convictions. Obama looked out of it and allowed Romney to lie and get away with it.

The GOP knows Romney has no conviction but it does not seem to matter to them . Romney is not going to tax the rich and that does seem to be their "rally around" issue.

Really? Well Mitt Romney (a "Christian" Mormon) has broken the Ten Commandments more times that we can count. He lies like a rug, he steals from the poor, and he bears false witness against his neighbor (opponent). Is this the man you want to run this country? He is a hypocrit. He plays the game of "bait and switch". He breaks God's covenants. He can't be trusted!

Romney is a compulsive liar , a hypocrite who drapes the flag around himself with empty and silly talking points and all that is what endears him to most republicans because they are exactly the same.

Can you imagine if Obama had millions of dollars stashed away in Caribbean vaults and had actually invested money in Global-Tech Sweatshop in China ?

The GOP would be screaming 24/7.

Most republicans I have met think they are wealthy beyond belief. They may not have a load of money, but they think they do, even if not, they identify with millionaires and sniff up their butts like dogs do when a visitor comes to the door. they think it will magically rub off or something. They are usually dripping in self pity, screaming about "the immigrants are stealing our jobs!"

I got news for them, I live in Palm Springs where it can be over 100 degrees for weeks at a time. Every day in my building I see the gardeners toiling in the broiling sun and wonder how many republicans would accept THAT job that those greedy immigrants "stole" from some white boy. Maybe one of Mitt's Stepford sons would be interested in cutting grass and weeding for a while.

You are correct, if Obama had done half the things Romney has done, they would have his head on a pike at the city gates by now.

My uncle who I categorize as "Miami Cuban" is a Glenn Beck zombie.

He is soon to be a retired city worker and votes Tea party republican . He is a brainwashed tool.

According to him "They are coming for what is mine" . To hear him speak you would think that he was Rupert Murdoch or one of the Koch brothers.

He now subscribes to total deregulation because as FOX has told him ,corporations love us and look after us and would never pump out toxic fumes and deadly chemicals and products which would give us cancer (sigh).

Mitt Romney got 4 deferments from going to Nam which is fine except he spoke out in favor of the war but he isn't black so Christian conservatives call him a patriot.

I am a recent Vet and have no problem with those who got out of Nam and against Afghanistan (I am now also against it) but to actually be such a hypocrite as to support a war but than get out of it is typical republican filth "Do as I say not as I do".

First thank you for your service. I too was in Nam, the only draft dodger I have a problem with are the ones who left the country. The ones who went to jail for their beliefs or did "alternative service" I have no problem what ever.

People who used family influence to get into the "guard" or while being a "booster" of the war while hiding out in a mission for their church, let's just say I don't trust them when the "chips are down".
