By the way, read Peter.....God says to follow Man's law!!!

The Petrine writings are part of the antilegomena, and probably shouldn't be cited as authority for anything.

Just saying.

I can understand why you and your ilk are twisting and spinning over the upcoming ruling. If DOMA is upheld you are pretty much done with your struggle for fully recognized same sex marriage. However, closing your eyes to every obstacle doesn't make thme got away. They are still there.
DOMA will be struck, it has not survived any of the legal challenges against it. What is more, congress lacked the constitutional authority to pass the DOMA, because the US Constitution does not delegate the authority to regulate marriage to the federal government, nor does it deny that authority to the states. Itís a basic 10th Amendment issue.

Even if and that's a big IF SCOTUS was to somehow rule that Section 3 of DOMA is Constitutional......the fight would NOT be over......it would just move to Congress to repeal it!!!

No, they are NOT confirmed because when the story first broke on Tuesday......Kaitlyn was 17 years old and her girlfriend was 15 when the relationship started. Kaitlyn turned 18 years old in August of 2012, but wasn't arrested and charged until February of 2013.......and now various news stories have the one girl at 14 years old and now 15 years old and Kaitlyn at 18 years old when the relationship started......so, there are discrepancies and until I hear or read something that is trustworthy.....I stand by my comments!!!

She's been charged yes, but the girls ages are an issue especially when the relationship began.....and why did the parents of the younger girl wait until Kaitlyn was 6 month past the age of 18 before saying something about it?

Again, you tend to focus on a particular issue instead of the whole issue!!!

Either way, the 'child' is under 16. Why would gay advocate groups rally around this behavior???

There is no logical explanation, nor is one warranted. You have collected a series of random happenings and statistics and seen the hand of God in them.
Do you really think that if God decided to intervene on earth that a sporting event would be his first (or even 50th) stop?
The fact that this happened exactly once tends to reinforce the theory that this is nothing more than a coincidence.
So the answer that you are so desperately looking for is that you are gullible. If you think this football outcome was the work of God, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
I do believe that God would do something like this. This outcome is proof. Even if it is just a football game, he had a Christian quarterback be the one to throw for 316 and 31.6 yards per completion. God would do something like that because Tebow was an iconic figure and was very big in America at the time. Also, consider the facts: open Christian, John 3:16, playoff overtime win, underdog, 316 yards, team leader, 31.6 yards per attempt. That doesn't just happen without being intended to happen.

Regardless it is irrelevant to the topic at hand, I suggest we stop feeding the troll. I've always found Get The Fool to be an interesting case, they are seldom on topic, frequently advance unconstitutional (faith based) solutions, and if one is to believe their name is apparently out to get themselves.

Both were minors when the relationship began, and like most states, Florida allows minors to consent with people under the age of 24, which is why the elder girl was not charged with statutory rape. The parents were aware of the activity in advance and waited over a year to act. They are using the law as a weapon to get revenge.

This shouldn't be a news story, because it never should have happened.

Would you care to come back to the topic, or are you only able to slander homosexuality with utterly irrelevant BS?

You're right, it could be. I'm not in favor of same sex marriage, but like I've said on more than one post, if DOMA falls I'll get over it.

Probably because this happens in High School all the time and I don't see you making an issue of a 17/18 year old boy being involved with a under 16 year old girl!!!
