"After Dick realized that it would be a gay ceremony, he told the couple that they would not be able to hold their nuptials at the establishment — and that’s when the controversy erupted."

There is, but since the idiot from Tennessee is commenting on stories he's cruising from the news wire of the gay/lesbian forum, he's running into a bug that they haven't been able to fix.

IF the owners of a business claim they won't serve LGBT people because of their religious beliefs, and claim they should not be subject to legal sanctions because of their religious beliefs, then would they make the same claim about them refusing to serve non-Christian people, such as Jews, Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists as well ?

In the time of Jesus of Nazareth, the Romans were pagans. Yet, when a Roman centurion came to Jesus and asked Him for help, Jesus did not say that He could not help him because he was of a different religious faith, or that being a pagan was offensive to Him, or that paganism was evil. Instead, Jesus told the centurion that He should take Him to his house so that he could cure his servant (or slave).

So, regarding this Iowa business, WWJD ?

"One angry e-mail said that the family is “finished” and “doomed.”“You are mean, rude, selfish, mother f***er racist sons of b**ches from hell,” it read, with the writer later adding,“F**k you, f**k your God, f**k your religion.” Another person who goes by the name “Micky” wrote,“Betty, you’re very old and almost dead. How do you both feel, knowing that America, and the world, will be a better place without you?“"

While some of the reported reactions are way over the top. If the business owners hadn't chosen to discriminate in the first place, they never would have heard from the angry loons, now would they?
