You will need to back up those claims.

First, explain how a gay couple marrying takes marriage away from straight couples. Are you trying to say that straight folks are so weak willed and insecure that they will stop marrying if gay folks marry?

Hasn't happened in any place that supports same sex marriages for their gay citizens.

Next, you will need to prove that allowing gay people to legally marry sens a bad message to gay youth. How does supporting monogamy, commitment, and family life cause death, and disease.

If you are making the claim that allowing gay people to legally marry will cause straight youth to morally decay and die, you will need to show the links between strong American families, and the destruction of American youth.

Almost 30 GOP legislators represent districts where the majority of their constituents voted against the last amendment. That's a lot of possible bipartisan votes.
