I agree and when he said that other priests and pastor spew racial hatred. I am a Catholic and can honestly tell you that no one, especially any priest I have ever had, spews any kind of racial or ethinic hatred in the pulpit. If they did I would not be a member of that church. These jerks don't represent Christianity. I felt Obama's comment was just a non-comment.

Can we face a couple honest facts?
1) Obama's so-called "Rev." Wright cannot even be Born Again, uttering such repulsive trash as "God Damn America!"
2) Ministers are called to preach the Gospel of Jesus, to show the same love and compassion he did. Wright's lunatic screaming about racial issues do neither. He is an utte disgrace.
3) For Obama to sit under this man's teaching for 2 decades shows that he has no regard for the Gospel, and that he passively or openly agrees with what Wright is spouting. Obama's damage-control speech cannot undo what his 20-year history of supporting intolerance, ignorance and a flat-out idiot.
4) Why do Wright, Sharpton and Jesse all have to come across as stark-raving nutjobs? Yet they hide behind the Cross to justify their twisted antics. And ol' Jesse was/is living in adultery all the while. Does anyone, anywhere, honestly believe these jerks represent Christianity? More to the point, would Jesus feel comfortable listening to their "sermons?"

Ok then, this shows you will only hear and see what you want-all you get out of what I say is four words? You have no respect for the context of what a person says, no wonder you seem to fear Obama. By listening only to the evil things you hear and see from unreliable sources, you allow this sort of dirty politics to continue, and that goes for BOTH parties!

Just how would that happen, exactly? Care to explain your paranoia? More anti-Muslim hatred....
Obama is not a Muslim, and who freakin' cares anyway? DO NOT buy into the fear, people! Think for yourselves, and read more than one or two sentences of what someone actually said!

lets hear some more from rev. moss..he is wright's replacement and hes doing a fine job at keepin the black liberation theology alive...long live the religious hate..

the obama has not had ANY questions brought to him of any substance.. the media either chooses not to give equal coverage or the obama thugs will not take these questions of importance to the livelihood of america...
the obama has gotten away with not having to answer any questions of substance throughout this race...except for the racial issues he has choosen to make as a topic...i really couldnt care less about your welfare and inability to better yourselves...the democratic party is all about adding more programs for government assistance..at what time in your lives do you accept the challenges of a productive american and actually go out and get on the bus and fill out a job application..maybe even show up..thats all you gotta do is show up...they wont fire you because you are black and they dont want a lawsuit..so you wont have to actually do anything at work but show up...the mexicans will do all the work for you because they want to keep their job and not be deported..so whats you beef with america...your still winning..why you crying..
oh let me not forget the bleeding heart white people for the obama...where on earth have you been? what part of the country do you live in where the blacks are not the majority? can you not see im from the deep south where the majority of blacks get EVERY chance to better themselves but a large portion decide to stay up on the porch and wait for the mailman..oh the po' blacks have got it sooo tough..every program is tailor made for equality for the blackman..some choose to use it, some choose it to use it...where my pie..where i work a white man will get fired before a blackman and the blackman knows this..

Yes, now we know who he is and what he stands for. Think this through. Was he defending terrorists or peaceful Muslims? Are you the one who is taking things in an ugly direction? Has he not been consistent in this regard?

I don't walk into this with giddy hope. I know perfectly well that "peaceful" Muslims often give aid and comfort to terrorists. The simple point is that we don't KNOW who is doing what and why, yet hold people accountable as if they are the ones setting off bombs.

Face it. WE HAVE BEEN acting with the ugliest of intentions. 9/11 does not excuse us for indiscriminately bombing houses and tearing apart moving vehicles from gunships. What was the mission and who's still fighting for it? We've lost sight of our goals and if you ask me, we never really thought them through to begin with.

1. We want to eliminate terrorists, particularly Bin Laden.
2. We want to honor our alliances with countries like Israel. Israel has been loyal to our efforts since their beginning.
3. We have become dependent on mid-east oil for our economy. We need to keep good relations until we can solve our energy needs without petroleum.

It's a waste of time to let the conflict become one about religion. That just panders to irrational race pride and renders our more logical arguments ineffective.

This started out to be about Bin Laden. Nobody is paying attention to the Bin Laden problem. Every day we stay wound up in the hate that has driven the Sunni/Shiite conflict, we become more like them in the eye of world opinion.

If Obama wants to lash out at his own country, he couldn't pick a worse group to defend. I don't think he'll spend too much time befriending Muslims but he's one of the few who are going to push to get us out of their murderous wars for land.

First Obama thinks there are 60 states and now he doesn't know where Arkansas is.

Barack Obama, Friday, on why he's losing in Kentucky:

"What it says is that I'm not very well known in that part of the country," Obama said. "Sen. Clinton, I think, is much better known, coming from a nearby state of Arkansas. So it's not surprising that she would have an advantage in some of those states in the middle."

Can the man who wants to be President please tell us why Arkansas is somehow closer to Kentucky than Illinois??????

Oh, and after you flunk 5th grade geography, go to your backup plan — blame Fox News:

“Part of it is because there have been these e-mails that have been sent out very systematically, presumably by various political opponents, although I don’t know who,” he said.“And there are a lot of voters who get their news from Fox News. Fox has been pumping up rumors about my religious beliefs or my patriotism or what have you since the beginning of the campaign.”

sorry, but a prerequisite to being president should be knowing how many states are in the US and where they are.

I can't speak for Obama but I would assume that he looks at Kentucky as being closer to Arkansas because it's environmentally, policially and economically in a different zone.

Illinois is a Northern, Great Lakes-industrial state with a large urban population mostly along its north coast. Kentucky and Arkansas are not entirely the same environmentally but otherwise, they have a lot in common.

Fox News can defend thier own actions. There's plenty of people who think they're biased.

I don't know where you get your 60 state rant. Perhaps, there are 60 primaries once you include territories. Anyway, he seems to be getting tired, as are the other candidates. At least his word fumbles are mostly just from too much multi-tasking and not hard-headed inner prejudices.

Do you want to go to town on his "sweetie" comment? For all I know, he could have picked it up from watching an Indiana Jones movie and it just stuck. Perhaps he needs to practice his mass-media face but perhaps his lack of camera-consciousness helps convince voters. Whatever works, I guess.

You're nit-picking.

We shall see.
FatA$$ Moore will be involved only if there are tons of money to be made. I'd expect O'Bama to cuddle up to Moore until Moore says something stupid (which is every day), then O'Bama will take weeks to finally disavow the FatA$$(see: O'Bama's response to Jeremiah Wright).

why is it that Obama supporters always have to explain what Obama ment and make excuses for his lack of knowledge of BASIC USA facts like how many states there are and where they are!??

for a candidate of Obama's "stature", and for a man who has the reputation as a great speaker, you wouldn't think he would need people to constantly explain what he meant!

I love the way people take things out of context to make their point. THIS was the entire quote...
Pitching his message to Oregon's environmentally-conscious voters, Obama called on the United States to "lead by example" on global warming, and develop new technologies at home which could be exported to developing countries.

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," Obama said.

"That's not leadership. That's not going to happen," he added.
Has different meaning in that context - doesn't it.
