Jenny Sanford: Gay marriage wrecked my family

Full story: thediscust.com

“Of course I’m not saying that Mark is gay,” Sanford said, “but he may as well be. The moral decay in this country has claimed another victim and this time it was my family. Our marriage was perfect until these laws started passing around the country. Clearly the slow dissolution of the sanctity of marriage in America seeped into Mark’s psyche until he no longer felt compelled to abide by our vows.”

I can't even believe I'm reading this.

Here I thought she was a smart woman, and I felt bad for what she was going through, with her husband announcing on TV that his mistress was his soulmate - but he would 'try' to 'make' himself fall in love with his wife again.

Little did I know she was such a stupid c***.

Choke on it, Jenny. You deserve every bit of what you're getting.

When the weak turn to others and blame them for their own failings apparently they are admitting that they are unable to stand up for what they believe unless everyone is just like them.

In other words Mrs Sanford believes that anyone different impacts society in such a way it forces her husband to not only lie and cheat on her but to abandon his post as Gov.

Mrs Sanford....why not blame it on interracial marriage? The same predictions were made.

The woman is obviously hurting and is angry. Give her enough time and I'm sure she can find a reason having a black president is the reason her husband still calls his lover his soul mate.

This is a spoof/humor post, not news, for those that would buy it hook, line and sinker...

It's a satire site, but I've seen it quoted on a few right wing sites already. lol

I realized that right after I posted, and I clicked to "kill" the story, but I guess it didn't take, or topix didn't get around to it yet. I'll try again.

It appears to have been killed because when I clicked on the link it went to the news page. However, I cut/pasted the link into Google and found it. I was appalled! Then I read Stanman's comment about it being satire. A little checking proved that to be correct, however, he is also correct that it has been picked up by the right-wing and is being sold as Gospel!
