N yah, he be'en Jamaica mon. Graduated cum laude from Cornell, and got his MBA at Columbia. He was not a reparationist.
I'm now (semi)retired in rural Ireland. Things are cheaper here than in California.
Good for your FORMER next-door neighbour, snyper...again, MANY people have been to Jamaica, and some have even lived in Jamaica for a time, though that does not mean that they are JAMAICAN!

Glad you feel the need to shower praise on this former next-door neighbour's educational accomplishments...hope he's putting his education to good use.

Rural Ireland, huh? Wanted to go out there in 2010...are you Irish? My cousin in England said that the whole fiasco that occurred in Ireland was shameful on Britain's past...reparations may also be the common cry for the descendants of Ireland that had their lands stripped from them also, as they did in Jamaica. You do know that there are many Irish settlers in Jamaica that were basically banished from their homeland to work for the British Crown in Jamaica, right? I suppose that the cry for reparations from the group of Irish Jamaicans, of whom now seek to be able to have Jamaica's lands and economy restored to the people of Jamaica today would also be what you would call an uneducated stand against Jamaica's former colonial nation, huh snyper?

Someday, you may just understand Jamaica's motto 'Out of MANY, ONE PEOPLE', snyper. Don't assume that Jamaica is only made up of Black African slaves, Chinese defectors and East Indians.

England has just as high a crime rate as Jamaica...I can see why you have no time to care about other countries's crimes, when you are surrounded by crime in your muggy, damp, cold taxhole of a nation, Drama Queen!

USUALLY? Yeah, let's go somewhere where, chances are, we might not be attacked for being gay. There's a selling point...
Nothing locally will change until there is an impact on the travel bucks received by visitors. The jamaican authorities have to change the laws(and enforce those laws) in order to win the trust of visitors.
Right...just remember what you said in your above post about going somewhere where you might not be attacked for being gay, okay cpeter1313!

Also remember, that when attacks happen on LGBT visitors to Jamaica, that they can, and USUALLY, are committed by the LGBT locals in Jamaica, that you LGBT visitors claim to care about, but really do nothing for, while ignoring their transgressions (the bad group of LGBT locals in Jamaica, that is, as not ALL LGBT Jamaicans are ruthless, violent, boisterous thieves)! Let's reference a source that you have relied on in one of your past comments, in order to confirm what I, and others, that ACTUALLY KNOW what is happening in Jamaica, have been telling your ignorant ass from the start!!!...

Now...what's your excuse for the small group of LGBT Jamaican criminals that are rowdy, violent and thieving, cpeter1313? Not even J-FLAG condones or defends their behaviour...so why do you???

If you REALLY were one to follow up on the plight of LGBT Jamaicans in Jamaica (like you claim that you are able to follow up on Santeria followers in Jamaica...LOL!), then you would know about the obvious monetary issues that J-FLAG continually talks about where it comes to them not really being able to assist LGBT Jamaicans, and rather than blaming the actions that are carried out by LGBT Jamaicans (on MOST occasions of violence against other LGBT Jamaicans) on heterosexual Jamaicans, cpeter1313, you would find a way to HELP J-FLAG ensure a better future for LGBT Jamaicans in Jamaica, by organizing a worldwide fundraiser for J-FLAG, and bringing about awareness about J-FLAG to potential foreign donors, so that J-FLAG could actually make a difference for many of the displaced and destitute LGBT Jamaicans!

Stop with the scapegoating, cpeter1313, get off your lazy Indiana ass, and actually DO SOMETHING for the LGBT people you CLAIM to care about in other parts of the world, that you feel are in a less fortunate position than you are! I'm sure that a yearly contribution of $100 from just YOURSELF would make a SIGNIFICANT difference in helping J-FLAG perform their mission in Jamaica for the LGBT Jamaicans that you claim to care about...and just think how much more of a difference could be made if EVERY critic of Jamaica, in reference to the plight of LGBT Jamaicans are concerned, also donated $100 a year to J-FLAG to help disadvantaged LGBT Jamaicans in Jamaica, rather than bitching and scapegoating, cpeter1313? The problem that you all are whining about would not exist, because you would have helped J-FLAG give LGBT Jamaicans a home to live in...and that is the fundamental starting point that ALL these disadvantaged LGBT Jamaicans NEED from hypocritical bigots like yourself, cpeter1313!

But do the predictable, and try to come back with a witty response, cpeter1313, which will have virtually no bearing or effect on me, while you completely ignore everything I have told you about helping the LGBT Jamaicans you claim to care about, just like most of you hypocritical bigots...THAT will show those LGBT Jamaicans for being born, raised and disadvantaged in Jamaica...by then, you may as well say that it was THEIR choice to be there, so to hell with them, right cpeter1313??? SMH!

By the way, cpeter1313...you DO realize that the authorities don't change the laws...it is the POLITICIANS that change laws! But you too stupid to catch mistakes like that that you make on a daily basis, huh kid?
