The stories of Ruth and Naomi, David and Jonathan, Daniel and Ashpenaz, all support love between people of the same sex.
What the bible condemns are acts of abuse and misuse of others, not love between equal partners.
I love my Father & my Mother as well as my Sister and Brother.I also love my friends. Half these relationships could be classified as love between members of the same-sex.
Yes the Bible condems abuse and misuse of others. It also however is clear about what marriage is, that sexual acts outside marriage are forbidden, as well as being very strict by contemprary standards on matters of sexual fidelity, chasitity and the like.
