from wave3: "The Very Rev. Gary Hall, the cathedral's dean, said performing same-sex marriages is an opportunity to break down barriers and build a more inclusive community 'that reflects the diversity of God's world ...'" ... yet it doesn't reflect His Word. In fact, it contradicts the entire Bible.

How tragic that a building built for Christian purposes is now used to bless what God so clearly condemns in both Testaments!

ALL denominations that waffle on the Bible's many explicit commands against all homosexual behavior are in steep decline. Nearly all others are growing. The Episcopal Church has lost a significant percent of its members and uses the threat of stealing property to keep many of its parishes and even diocese within the fold. Here in Illinois, one of three diocese has left ECUSA (Quincy). Another ignores their anti-Bible decrees and works with Anglicans who are loyal to the Bible (Springfield.) The third has lost many members and parishes (Chicago.)

You apparently know nothing about the Episcopal Church. As an Article of Faith, it claims to turn to the Bible for doctrine. It was under those conditions that most of the money to build the National Cathedral was solicited. Now using the building for an activity that God repeatedly condemns in both Testaments of the Bible is a steep departure from the original faith.

One of thought that the earthquake would have knocked a little sense into them. Sometimes hearts hardened against God and his Word get hardened by God and his Word. Just ask Pharaoh.

Just ask Pharaoh. Hooboy! What we apparently have above here is a statement from one of Pat Robertson's 700 Club disciples. The National Cathedral's steeple and the Washington Monument were two of many thousands of man-built structures, in addition to many more thousands of natural structures that were damaged by that unusual quake. However, it was not all that unusual. It certainly was an "Act of God." But, what it was not was some kind of "retribution" for perceived sins. It was simply an earthquake that resulted from tectonic movements and forces, long in the making. Such natural events are not suddenly wreaked upon those who misbehave. Rev. Ken

Did you know that the Bubonic plague, which is spread by fleas, spread westward into Europe as a result of having been introduced by the armies of Ghengis Khan? Malaria is spread by mosquito. Cholera in water and droplets in air. Bad diseases.

MORE AMERICNS were killed by influenza in 1918, than all American soldiers and Marines killed in World War I.
