marriage is the purview of the state. mariage is a legal, binding contract. only the state could have that purview.
perhaps you are consfusing it with many religions' rites of matrimony or such, they will not be affected by same sex marriages at all.
Marriage is a contract. But is not a right. For example, a business partnership is a contact. But nobodyhas the right to be in business. It is a priviledge and a responsibility. It is not a right. I do not care what the Suprem Court says. I havemy ownbrain inmyownheadand I can figure things out for myself. I do not need you or anybody else to tell me what a right is or is not.

As a Muslim I do not oppose Women's Right. The most important Women Right is the right to be a woman. But under KKKlinton, she wants women to be like men. Thaat is why she ALWAYS wear pants. That is wrong.( http://www.dar-us-salam.com/TheNobleQuran/sur... ) And as a minority, of course, I do not oppose Africans' Civil Rights. It is absurd to claim otherwise. But African's Civil Rights are not the same tings as Women Rights. And there is no such thing at all as "gay" rights. Donot confuse these things.
<quoted text> The only reason "gays' want the state involved is becaus eit gives monetary benefits to them. It is a scam. And i do not buy it.
What is "like men"? Getting equal opportunity and pay? Anyone who truly doesn't oppose womens right will allow women to decide what they are, not men. Women always supported African American rights even thought it wasn't always returned. African men gained their freedom but denied their own women freedom. We have mostly fought for ourselves and now we define ourselves as we choose.
Gay people don't need much help. They are often smarter more talented and nicer than a lot of us. Law is on their side just like for all people others would like to oppress.
That took a lot of work. I hope you were serious.

That's because the "frc" IS a hate group, and tony perkins needs to take a long hike off of a short pier.

Typical liberals.
According to liberals, there is no such thing as perversion.
I guess if one supports gays, then by extension, one accepts the precepts of NAMBLA.
Wrong. You are the face of perversion.

Tomorrow we will be in Washington D.C. for the March for Marriage, and it is with a combination of excitement and anxiousness that we take a stand for marriage and family. As Christians we know that the battle is not ours, but the Lordís. It is with this faith that we press on, knowing that whatever the outcome, we will serve Him.

These past two decades have exemplified many changes in our nation. Some of these changes have impacted our entire nation negatively like no modern generation. But we also know that prayer changes things. And although it looks like we have lost some ground, we know that all things are in Godís hands, He is in control, and He is working them out for our good.

So Deborah and I wanted to thank and encourage everyone who will be going to Washington, and even those who could not make the trip, because I know that you supported us with your prayers. We want to express our sincerest thanks to all who support CAAP; with your help we can continue this fight until the end.

God is still on His throne, and He still moves in great power. So let us strengthen ourselves in the Lord like King David.

snip: "Marriage is one of the "basic civil rights of man," fundamental to our very existence and survival. Skinner v. Oklahoma, 316 U.S. 535, 541 (1942). See also Maynard v. Hill, 125 U.S. 190 (1888). To deny this fundamental freedom on so unsupportable a basis as the racial classifications embodied in these statutes, classifications so directly subversive of the principle of equality at the heart of the Fourteenth Amendment, is surely to deprive all the State's citizens of liberty without due process of law."
You lose again. LOLAY!
Lying idiot, you are bluffing. That decision was about interracial marriage. It basically says that laws that prohibit interracial marriage are unconstitutional. It does not say that people have a right to marry. That is twisting the words and taking them out of context.

those religious cult members can do whatever they wish with their rites of matrimony.

marriage is the purview of the state and religion has absolutely nothing to do with it or marriage at all...

Churches speak out against marriage redefinition in Illinois

CHICAGO - Several churches from Chicago are organizing a pro-traditional marriage march Saturday in downtown Chicago. At the same time, a coalition of black pastors continue to run radio ads encouraging their parishioners to urge their state lawmakers to vote against redefining marriage in Illinois.

The 60 second ad is being played on Chicago radio stations. The ad includes Pastor Kenny Ruiz of Urban Rock Church in Logan Square, Pastor Charles Lyons of Armitage Baptist Church, and Bishop Larry D. Trotter of Sweet Holy Spirit Church. Listen to the ad HERE
