It's just proof that the anti gay marriage folks are doing more harm to society by fighting gay marriage than if gay marriage were legal in all 50 states.

"every article of the Indiana Constitution provides for the protection of citizens’ rights. If this passes it would be the first language that would take away Hoosiers’ rights and enshrine discrimination into the constitution."

This harms citizens while providing no benefit to anyone. All it does is to indulge and enshrine in the state constitution, an irrational, scientifically unsupportable prejudice that results in needless suffering and death.

Dr. Chris Beyrer, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Public Health: "We know for certain that lesbian and gay individuals suffer harm to their physical and psychological health, and to their relationships and quality of life, as result of the shame, isolation and stigma accrued from their social and legal disenfranchisement."

The Teabaggers run Indiana now. The next 2 years will herald unprecedented legislation related to the society of the 1800's.

It is best just to leave.

There are still pockets of resistance as the rejection of Lugar's tea bag replacement shows, but with Pence as gov. I fear you are correct. I appreciate those who stay and fight, but I certainly couldn't blame anyone for leaving.
