Feeling good and making good in 2012....is not necessarily the same thing.

We hopefully will see gains from Washington, Maine and retain New Hampshire......we will have a couple of setbacks as well.......but that is to be expected in these types of Civil Issues!!!

The New Hamphsire House is expected to vote sometime today on repealing their marriage bill. They need 264 votes to be able to override a veto- simple majority to pass is 200.

Btw, could their House BE any bigger?? One of the smallest states but they have the largest House of any.

What a great concept of representative democracy!

The governor vowed to veto the bill if passed and excoriated the bigots pushing it.

“New Hampshire has a long and proud tradition of fighting for the rights of all of our people and a tradition of leaving people alone to pursue their own happiness,” he said.“As Governor, I intended to uphold that centurys old tradition and I will stand firm against any legislation that will strip any of our citizens of their civil rights.”
