That's because RU-B-O is a Cuban; most hispanics don't like cubans because of the preferential treatment they get in illegal immigration.
Gee, I wonder why RU-B-O didn't talk about that?

We can only and certainly hope so. Meanwhile the Repuglicans continue acting like they didn't win the last election. Evidently the still believe they can win by catering to the religious right and the tea party fools.
Have at it fellas but realize you're well on your way to losing in 2016 as well. Your future doesn't look very bright.

they did win because they still control congress, romney was the only loser and that's only because he was to honest, had he lied just a bit to the American public like Obama continues to do,he would be president . The biggest losers in this country are those who belive illegal immigration had much if anything to do with obamas victory. The American people have taken note of the acts of treason by democrats since the election and it will show in 2016,you can count on it

The immigration issue did contribute to Obama's win, because anything Romney said was wishy-washy. He flip flopped on just about every issue and lost the people's trust. Republicans and the right wing media did nothing, but insult those voters they needed. That's why they'll lose in 2016. They do little to change.
Fox News, right wing radio pundits like Savage, Medved, Limbaugh and the whole score of others use right wing issues to sensationalize and capitalize on the country's ills for profit. The public isn't that stupid to see beyond that smoke screen. That in addition is what significantly contributed to Obama's win.
The GOP is so Tea party clueless that they think Rubio will take the Hispanic vote.
He will get those who are conservative and the Miami Cuban junta but no more than that, However Rubio is so self servingly cunning that he knows how clueless they are thus he is not going to tell them "The Emperor has no clothes" and sever his royal treatment .

<quoted text>So true. I know a lot of Hispanics here, from work and neighbors, etc. They are either Mexican or from Central America. They HATE Cubans. They find them insufferable and hoity toity elitists. When I see Rubio, that is what comes to mind immediately.
Cubans here in Miami (VERY different than NY Cubans) have been called 'Miami KKKubans by other Hispanics and I understand why (I am not saying ALL cubans here are like that you know what I mean )but putting that aside there is something in our DNA which dictates political corruption unlike anything I have ever seen.

This sums up what I have seen in my 4 years in Cuban run Miami-

"Dario Moreno, a professor of political science at Miami International University, incurred the wrath of fellow Hispanics when he went on the CBS News magazine 60 Minutes in January [1998] and criticized Miami's Cuban community for the city's corruption'

"Elena Diaz, a Cuban-American whose parents immigrated to Miami when she was a baby says,'This is the way it was in Cuba before Fidel Castro. I heard my parents talk about it that country was so corrupt. Corruption's what actually destroyed it and now they're doing the same thing here.'

He turned off Rubio's "response" as soon as he saw who it was because, as he said "The Cubans all get preferential treatment from the government. If one of them commits a crime while their status is still 'undocumented', they won't be deported because the US government hates Cuba's leaders."
Most republicans actually have no damn idea how much money these "less" gvmt , Marco Rubio voters have cost and CONTINUE to cost USA in assorted FAILED "Cuba libre" funds which only line the pockets of the Miami political MAFIA .

Rubio would take food off a republican elderly Anglo womans table but NEVER touch a penny of the tax payer Miami Cuban funds.
Sadly Dems here have not called him out on his bias hypocrisy.

"Radio and TV Marti Should be Prime Targets for Budget Cutters "

While House Republicans showed no difficulties in placing National Public Radio (NPR) on the chopping block in mid-March, they have overlooked conservative pet projects that are far more costly, of lower quality, and ineffective. Two such projects are the anti-Castro broadcasts Radio and TV Martí, both funded by the U.S. government and aired in Cuba. Both are expensive and fruitless remnants of Cold War-era propaganda battles. Their termination would go largely unnoticed by Cubans and be applauded by most U.S. taxpayers, who presently shell out roughly USD 30 million every year to fund the broadcasts.

http://truth-out.org/index.php...

"A few weeks ago I was invited to interview for a show to air on Radio & TV Martí, a Miami-based station that during the past two decades has soaked up and wasted more than $500 million of U.S. taxpayers’ money attempting to beam anti-Castro news and commentary at Cuba.

I declined.

The fact that Florida’s arch right-wing Cuban-American representatives Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Lincoln Diaz-Balart have had their own shows on Radio & TV Martí could have something to do with why this boondoggle continues to get U.S. government funding."

Your husband has a friend in this NY Cuban and if he ever wants countless links, paper articles, etc of the corruption, double standard, tax payer sucking fraud, etc, etc which goes on here while these hypocrites scream "less gvmt" and deport everyone else , PM me.

Are you a humanitarian? Do you believe that we should not live off of others? What about abusing others? And of course having a nation that needs to survive the way we do killing people form other nations.....Now we do what we have been doing since Korea war and probably before. Domestically the demographics have changed. Changed massively. But the responsible people charged are greatly reduced in numbers. We have killed so many men and women in this world. So many children killed, defiled and worse. You see we live in an imperfect world. So people take advantage of each other in any way they can using any rule or law or something enforced on others. We also live with politics. And people who force their views on others. And what is worse, people so blinded on human rights that they destroy anything good to achieve it. The costs are astronomical in a world that is malnourished. So they spout someone should do something about this while they live a comfortable life and shed their guilt because they have none and put it on their neighbor. So everything we live as middle class is debated as the abusers of human sanity live better then they should using others who are much more honest in living. No one would say we should be number one in everything since World War 2. But to drop in most everything massively because of domestic insane rules and laws and watching foreigners come here and not becoming Americans, but crapping on what is America and demanding that if you do not agree you are a hater from centuries past is the death knell of a brilliant idea.

Actually Republicans lost several house seats in the last election. But you, like way too many Republicans wouldn't know truth if it bit you. That comes from watching too much FUX News and your daily dose of Rush.

It would seem Republicans would be tired of being the party of dumb but you folks just continue to hang onto it.

BTW, your Romney was honest comment was laughable. He supported Gay rights and claimed he was more for them than Ted Kennedy and was a strong pro choice candidate. He then changed underwear and suddenly he was opposed to all that he so strongly claimed he supported. He then got caught telling his wealthy supporters that 47% of Americans are not much more than ghetto trailer trash. The ideal Republican candidate.

Acts of treason? Really? Let me guess, you ride the tea bag express don't ya?

The credit was dinged BECAUSE the Repubs refused to raise it you fool!

And it has absolutely nothing to do with the Federal Reserve printing more money. They are two entirely different issues.

It's fools like you who don't know what you are talking about who ultimately tank the economy. Just like what is going to happen because of the sequester that is heading our way like a runaway tank.

Stop the tea bagging there honey. It's unhealthy.
